ON AGT last night there was a young African-American man who gave his occupation as a car washer in an auto dealership. He looked kind of scruffy to me with his many dreadlocks. He did have a personalable smile and a nice way about him. I think the dealership will be looking for another car washer soon. He sang in the Frank Sinatra style and was terrific.He has definitely washed his last car.

I missed the fact that he was a 'car washer'. i was too distracted by his bobby generic impression

Howie mandel made a cartoon like 20 years ago. it was called bobby's world. bobby generic was the main character and the voice was done by howie mandel. the dude came out, said he was a big fan, and did a quick impression before he sang

That's awesome... congrats to your niece! They really are very good -- just looks like they need a bigger stage so they can all be seen!
 
wow, that guy is on FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEE.
They are good and all, but do these judges ever think about what Vegas would really go for? I'm not just talking these dance groups of 30 people, but the majority of those acts.

Piers seems to want to cut to the chase but Howie encourages some of the crappy acts.
 
This is my all time favorite AGT group ever. I think they should have won last year. They are a better suit for a Vegas act than the singer who won last year.

The fighting gravity thing was a major strike 2 for me and AGT. I was still reeling from the year before when the 2 guys playing crazy hip hop music on violins lost out.

However, fighting gravity did expose me to the glitch mob. all the music fighting gravity used was from the glitch mob album. worth checking out if you're into any of that (weird electro glitch hop music that is)
 
I agree with "Fighting Gravity". They were great.

I think the female sword swallower and male pole dancer were the best last week. :eek: (J/K!)

Honestly, I only saw my niece presentation, and went back to the All Star Game... Ether way, my vote was taken before the show stared...
 
Miami All Stars did great. They are good. As long as an adult singer DOESN'T win!

The "singers" they've got aren't that great... but then again neither are the ones who have won in the past.

I just wish they could find someone with REAL talent like Terry Fator again.
