Ultima Tire and Trim Guard

I never tried it on tires but I have heard weeks. On that note I think it is just way too expensive to use as a tire shine.

How long does it last on trim on a car that is outside 24/7?

UTTG is some durable stuff. It lasted through 2 mudding trips where my entire jeep was submerged in water before it quit beading up on the trim. After the first trip UTTG made it easy to wash all the mud off with just a pressure washer and car soap. The second trip was still easy but required some APC+ at 10:1 for some of the stuff. I gave it a reapplication after using APC but it might not have been necessary.
On my dad's car, a ford edge, the trim still looks great after 8 months of daily driving and garage at home.

Ok I'm sold. And what do you use as a tire dressing?

I run the tires on my Jeep naked, just ARO cleaned every 2 weeks to keep them black. 35 inch mud terrains are just too exhausting to get dressed uniformly. Before the mud tires I used UTTG every 2 weeks.

On my dad's SUV, I always use UTTG for the tires. It gives a good darkness for a few weeks and makes future cleaning really easy.

I applied it to the plastic on my side view mirrors on the HHR. It's only been a month though and still holding strong. I never did get to finish my testing on my Avalanche. But after 2 months on there it was still holding strong.

To be honest, I think most people using UTTG mainly for trim!

Noticed that too. Probably because UTTG Is just to .... preciouuuuuuuuuussssssssshhh to use on a big surface like four tires.

Wow, sound good!

I didn't expect to have an extremely accurate number! That's a good amount though!

You should have 20 cars or so left!

Really depends on what exactly you are workin on. I think some of these newer POS vehicles have more surface area of plastic than paintwork. A little does really go a long way and keeping an applicator in a ziplock between uses avoids the priming and wasting of product each time.

I've been using this on my Trans Am a d I used it in my old truck. It's been on the Trans Am for over a year and it still beads water on the cowl.

I've tried it on tires but it always has streaks after it dries. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm using a foam applicator to apply it to the tires and trim.

I used UTTG on my Dakota mirrors and finally needs some replenishment. It did not seem to last but 4 months -- longer than others I have used but not 2x. Oh well.

I haven't had that issue on tires. I would have to assume that maybe you applied it too thick. There should be no streaks by the time you are finished buffing it in.

That could be the problem. I've only used it on the tires a few times and I have the old sprayer that doesn't work. I think I'll swap it into another bottle and give it another try. Tires are the only place I get the streaks.
