I am fairly new to all of this and i am trying to decide if the M105/M205 combo is to aggressive for my paint or if i should use something else? I have a black 05 Colorado and the paint does have some swirling and minor scratches and there are a few scratches that will need to be wet sanded to be removed so i am not sure what products to use? Trying to follow the advice of using the least aggressive products in order to get the job done. Totally lost on where to begin.

If you have to wetsand the scratches I would definately go with M105/M205 because M105 will remove wetsanding marks with ease.

I can almost guarantee a black 05 Colorado will need 105 followed by 205 and if you want to take it even farther follow up with 85rd ;)

That is what I was thinking. I have PC 7424 any ideas what types of pads i should be using?:buffing:

Is that the PC 7424 or the PC 7424XP

Regardless, 5.5" thin pads if you go with foam, 5.5" Surbuf if you want to do the initial cut with a fiber pad.
