If you're familiar with the Wolfgang Line of Premium Car Care, then you already know that Wolfgang is dedicated to finding the latest breakthroughs in polymer technology to implement in each and every formula they offer. From the crystal-like shine and durable protection of the Deep Gloss Paint Sealant, to the fusion of German Super Polymers and Brazilian Carnauba Wax found in the Füzion Estate Wax, each Wolfgang formula is designed to be class leading in every aspect.

The new Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant will continue this tradition and offer excellent protection and durability on all exterior trim, including: wheels, tires, chrome, rubber and vinyl surfaces. Its hyper concentrated formula provides excellent UV protection to prevent cracking and fading of rubber and vinyl exterior surfaces. When used on wheels and other metal trim, it will protect against corrosion and degradation for months. This unique formula utilizes the latest in polymer technology and goes on extremely thin to provide a like-new satin finish on vinyl and rubber surfaces that is also water resistant.

To put the Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant (ETS) to the test, I applied it to a severely faded plastic windshield cowl. For a car that sits outside 24/7 in the Florida sun, any trim that isn't protected will fade within a matter of months, even when new.

For best results, thoroughly clean the surface that you're applying ETS to. Any all purpose cleaner will do the trick, such as DP Cleanse-All or Optimum Powerclean. This will ensure proper bonding of the ETS.

A little bit goes a long way, so use sparingly!

The German Polish N’ Wax Applicator works great for applying ETS because it's easy to hold and the dense foam allows the product to stay on the face of the applicator.

You can see how a little bit of product goes a long way. For best results, thoroughly work in ETS to the surface that's being treated. In most instances, a second coat is not necessary.

If too much product is applied, buff dry with a clean, dry microfiber towel.

Check out the dark, satin finish that ETS provides on this plastic windshield cowl. ETS dries almost immediately after being applied. Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant bonds to the surface and will not run or streak when it gets wet.

Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant also works well as a dedicated wheel sealant. When applying ETS to a wheel or any other type of metal trim, buff the product after applying a thin, even coat. Treating wheels with ETS with not only enhance the appearance, but will also make future cleaning much easier.

For application of tires, a foam tire applicator works best. Here is what the tire of this Civic looks like prior to Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant being applied.

A thin even coat is all it takes. Thoroughly work the product in to the tire.

Here is what the tire looks like after ETS is applied. It leaves a dark, rich finish that isn't overly glossy. It also dries to the touch almost immediately after being applied.

The chrome bumper of this Ford Falcon was also protected with Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant. This will keep the metal from corroding and oxidizing over time. It will also make future cleaning easier, all while enhancing the appearance.

Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant is very easy to use and will provide months of durable polymer protection on all exterior trim.

It's available in 4oz, 8oz, and 16oz sizes.

sounds like another "must have" in the Wolfgang lineup.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!! This is the missing product in the Wolfgang line for sure! Definitely going on my next order!

Going to get me some during the 4th sale :xyxthumbs:

Hi Nick,
This was taken from the email and I wanted to know if the sale prices are before the 20% sale for the 4th of July? If so, then the prices should be as noted to the side of each in blue font to show the 20% off discount. Can you please confirm this for the forum?

Thanks,
Richard

Other than the price listed on the 8oz being off, I too want to know if the 20pct off is off the sale price, if so its going to make me try it instead of waiting for UTTG to get back in. I hope it lasts as long.

You are correct, it should read $19.99 :o

I just put some in a cart and tried the code and it didn't work. so I doubt there is 20% on top of the sale price.

The code doesn't start until tomorrow and it's in 3 hour increments

That is one very nice product that I will have to add to my collection and test! :props:

I don't think the code is in 3 hour increments, that the free shipping. I think the code started already because it didn't say the code was invalid, it said that it didn't apply to anything in my basket.

I added a few other Wolfgangs products and it discounted them. Looks like the sale is not going to apply?

Discount does apply to new WG item if you feel your total is wrong just put a note in comments box at checkout and we will look it over for you.

I'm glad to see this added to the Wolfgang lineup. There was a very big gap with a product like this not available. Congrats !

3 questions,

Is there any information available on the solvents in this product and its base ?

How is overspray (or accidental application) dealt with on glass and/or paint ? easily removable before the product dries ?

Could the product be misted through a sprayer ? (If it was poured into a 4oz sample bottle sprayer)

thx. I will find out by next week as I already ordered 16oz's. :)
