Black Light meet Skyline

Blacklight & V7 are great products. This industry is surely big enough for everybody to share in the wealth, ideas, and information. Last time I looked, the USA economic model (where 1% of the population own 95% of the wealth)...doesn't really work very well.

That car looks stunning, and yes... I for one, am very interested to know how it was accomplished. The original poster was exited to share his knowledge, and I thought he did it tastefully without breaking any rules. I've read no AG competitor's solicitations, web links, sales promotions, or anything coming even close to that...while reading the original thread.

I would hope a majority of us are not here just for the sake of buying, selling, or talking strictly about (or getting hung up on) products...but more importantly, we are here for KNOWLEDGE.

As far as car care products are concerned, I could easily survive just fine by driving down the road 2 miles, and buying nothing but OTC Meguiar's and Duragloss products...but yet, I'm here because of the friendly atmosphere, and the wealth of knowledge that is AG.

For me, AG is about knowledge...and NOT so much about products, but sometime I have to wonder. If the day ever comes when guys like the one who posted this thread...decides to not to share his success in fear of being slammed for mentioning a competitor's product...then I will take my business elsewhere because at that point...its is all about products, and not about me learning something new.

Again, no rules were broken in this case, and please...let's leave it up to the forum moderators to give the lectures...and when its appropriate, to take action. Let us all never lose sight that knowledge gained is a win-win situation for everybody.

John, Spot on and I couldn't have said it better! :dblthumb2:

Perfect post. We are all here to learn and to share our detailing experiences. I like hearing about all products, whether sold by AG or not.

I've only been here a little while, but I've learned so much! I've learned about products I've never even heard of before. Everyone for the most part, has been very nice and love to share information.

I've also placed many AG orders! My detailing cart and storage cabinet are full!

Not to get nit-pickey, because I agree with 95% of your post, but the top 1% controll just under 35%. I won't defend them, but your point is well taken.

BTW, the car looks amazing rafimos.

How do you figure no rules were broken when it clearly states in the forum rules

product discussion should be limited to products that are available from Autogeek.net and PBMA's family of websites.

It seems that you have never read the forum rules since you continue to talk about non PBMA products so here is a link http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/company-forum-news-headlines/23712-updated-forum-rules.html

I don't like it, but I understand where AG is coming from.

Just a reminder this forum is for products carried by Autogeek. If not carried my Autogeek there are other places to post your threads just please not here. Also please refrain from outside links in your posts, if you have any questions on the rules please PM me.
Thank you

Hey like I said, I don't like the rule, but I understand why AG has that rule. Mentioning a product that AG does not carry is one thing, but posting a full on review about a competitors product is not very cool. BTW that quote was from Meghan and not me.

Built by Top Secret huh? R34 is so timeless! Awesome job on an awesome car!

Some people need to stop acting like if they were mods... Leave that up to the mods, i seriously dont see their reason to jump and state the comments they say.

yes Fancy this vehicle was also in F&F Tokyo Drift, built by Top Secret and use to be blue, was resprayed with Midnight Purple pearl III after the movie..has full leather interior and carbon fiber everywhere..simply an amazing car.

Absolutely beautiful car! MNP III is by far one of my all time favourite colours for a car ever.

Fantastic job!

agreed. i thought this was a Thread for showing off what you've done.

Agreed 100%.
I agree with not constantly talkiing about and definately do not condone linking out to a competitor. I also posted up a number of the products that are AG products in this thread. AG has always been a wealth of knowledge about the detailing industry

1. The purpose of Autogeekonline.net is for detailing discussion, providing a place for likeminded auto "Geeks" to share knowledge and partake in fellowship. Since AutogeekOnline is exclusively sponsored by Autogeek.net, product discussion should be limited to products that are available from Autogeek.net and PBMA's family of websites. Links to competing companies and products that are not available through Autogeek.net will be deleted. Repeated linking and discussion of products not available through us may result in a permanent ban. Moderators have the right to edit any posts that contain links or other information pertaining to competing companies that are not associated with Autogeek.net.

If the moderators see fit to edit this post to remove any mention of CG then I have no problem with that. Until they see fit to step in I would appreciate leaving the posts you leave in discussion with Show N Shine not your view of Rules and Regulations. You guys have filled my post with your banter.

If we can ONLY discuss products and show off cars that were done by AG products then half this forum would be needed to be deleted. From talks about IPA to the headlight uv sealant idea since AG does not sell minwax or alcohol. Come on guys were is the Fellowship of detailing geeks gone?

For those that kept on topic and those that even drooled a little at this gorgeous car. I appreciate it.

I would feel way out of place doing a review or show n' shine raving about a product(especially in the title) that AG does not carry. There are plenty of other forums for this. JMO.

I just got some Black Light today.

The problem with only discussing products AG carries is they carry so much and are always adding new stuff, so how are you supposed to keep up?

I didnt read the bickering about products being sold or want not by AG...

But the car looks AWESOME...Thats what this thread was for right?

I have found BL to be a damn good glaze!

Looks good.

If Ag didnt want the thread they would of moved it. Some of you guys are a bunch of babies, and try to be on power trips. Why dont you worry about yourselves instead, and let the AG mods decied what has broke the rules and what is allowed

Power trip? I COULDN'T CARE LESS if I had the power to remove a thread.

AG is very lenient with this type of stuff, but I'd put money on it that they'd rather not see threads raving about direct competitors products. Common courtesy.

I'm done. :)

This is priceless. Had some avoided playing policeman this thread would have probably died after three posts. Instead a competitor's product gets more exposure than it normally would.
