Very Light Swirls in NEW Subaru Paint.

I have a 2011 WRX in WRB pearl and have some very light webbing or swirls. When looked at under the sun they are not tightly packed nor seem to be real deep. I have an order in for a sample bottle of PoorBoys Light SSR1 and the euro foam trio (orange,white,red) hand applicators. Is this product going to help and what steps after do i take if it does correct alot of them. I have all of Mothers products pre-wax cleaner, sealer-glaze, pure nuba, cleaner nuba, reflections wax, reflections top coat and some fx syn-wax. If i need other products let me know. Like I said earlyer they are very light, I only have 2k on the car so it is pretty much brand new and Subaru paint is really soft from my experience. Thanks guys
 
You might just want to use a wax with fillers or a glaze until you get a machine polisher. I have not had a lot of luck polishing out swirls by hand. Maybe reduce the appearance slightly if I put some elbow grease into it.
 
Check out Mike's thread on hand polishing. I think it's called Man vs Machine. That should give you an idea of the amount of work that is ahead of you and provide some tips. You won't need to use a compound like he did though since the swirls are light.
 
Good luck. I was never happy with the results of hand polishing. Brings back bad memories that brought me here to get a DA.
 
I know for a fact that you can use Meguiar's micro fiber compound and mf cutting disk and finish down LSP ready. I just did it last weekend on a 2008 WRX. Your Poorboy's sample on the white pad should respond well on that paint. I find it to be soft and very easy to correct. Give me a couple minutes and I will add a picture.

No way, I did it using my Griot's Garage 6" Random Orbital Polisher. I had a couple areas to fix by hand and I simply used a micro fiber towel and Meg's D300 mf compound. According to the original post he ordered the euro foam trio which will be used by hand. It's going to be a lot of work but he should be able to accomplish everything he needs with the white pad. The orange will work too but least aggressive first right? :)
 
I dont plan on doin the entire car by hand just the hood, the top of my front fenders, pillars and pretty much where the sun catches the most light and the a visable. The door panels and areas like that it is very hard to see them. I did do the whole car with the mothers ultimate wax system (prewax cleaner, sealer-glaze, pure nuba) and all it did was "mask" them for a few washes.
 
Ok im about to start with the swirl remover, after I do all that can be done by hand I should use the prewax cleaner afterwords before waxing right? That helps the wax adhere better am I correct? Thanks
