Nice!

Those 442s were a nice combo of HP along with Olds luxury.

The 1919 Truck is pretty cool.

I have been waiting for these pics, Charlie! Very glad you posted these! Gotta love Oldsmobiles!!!!!! :props:

I always had a special place in my heart for Oldsmobiles having owed a 455 Cutlass Supreme while my Brother owned a 70 Olds 442 and several of his buddies had Cutlass S and Supreme models.

The picture you posted over reminds me of a funny story. This was a guy in my city in the mid 80's who owned over 100 musclecars,,,you name it he had it...Hemi & 6-pack Mopars, Buick GS & GSX's, Vettes, Big Block Chevys, AMXs, the cars he owned/sold could fill a museum.

One day while driving with my high school sweetheart we see he has a new ride...a 1970 Olds 442 W-30.

It was matador red with black stripes and white interior.
The car was absolutely loaded with A/C, power steering, power brakes, power seats, automatic, rear wing, and of course, the red plastic inner fenderwells.

The car was immaculate.

My girlfriend wanted the car for herself but just a made the purchase of a Iroc Camaro.

She was too afraid to ask her Dad (the co-signer of her Iroc) to sell the Camaro and buy a (then) 15 year old car.

Who knows...might of keep us together longer if she did make the purchase of the 442 :)

Jeff
