Hi!

I'm not a real detail guy, like many of you, but I pride myself on keeping my vehicles as nice as they can be. I recently purchased a new Mustang and thought I'd share my thoughts on Wolfgang's Sealant. To be blunt...I love this stuff! Easy to work with and is absolutely protecting my paint.

Naturally, the first thing I did was wash and dry. I then used a Pinnacle Clay bar the day after I got her home. Then, put on one coat of Wolfgang Sealant. I waited 12 hours (overnight in the garage) and then put one coat of Carnauba.

If you can't tell, I'm stationed overseas in Germany. Driving a Mustang around here turns heads at every corner. The shine helps a bit too.

Friday was the first day it rained on my car and the beading is first rate. All the work I did was by hand. I've now purchased a Flex and will be using it from now on. :buffing:

Anyway, I just wanted to stop in and say hi. I've learned a great deal from reading this forum and from watching some of the best detailing videos ever. Thanks Autogeek!

Wow you made that silver pop! Now I know what to use on my car.

Great job and thanks for your service. :)

I LOVE that picture with the house in the back ground. Very cool! Stang looks sick. It really pops. What branch of the service are you in?

Absolutely gorgeous Mustang!!

By the look of the surrounding area and the home I was thinking Europe myself.....:props:

Germany is my favorite European country, I've spent some time there....:dblthumb2:

Nice! I also use Wolfgang sealant. The first time I used it, I wasn't impressed.. turns out I didn't let it fully cure. The second time, I let it cure overnight like you did. WOW. I can't explain how epic the finish is.. definitely the best wax/sealant I have ever used by far. (haven't tried klasse yet)

thanks for the review. i love their spray sealant. i always wondered about their 3.0.

That looks fantastic. How does it feel to drive the car drive on the Autobahn?

Nice Stang! I BET it turns heads over there. I bought some Wolfgang sealant as well. Have

not tried it yet. Got it for the winter months here in Michigan. I also would like to thank

you for your service. :dblthumb2:

Looks great - I love silver too! HAHA

Love those wheels!!! That will be my next major purchase in the Spring. I also see you've lowered that baby. Looks nice...real nice.

Thanks for all the comments. I'll try and address some of the questions. First off, I'm no longer in the Army. I spent 20+ years as a helicopter pilot and now I work for the Department of the Army as a civilian. I was lucky enough to land a job in Germany and quickly grabbed it. I don't get to fly any more, but I still get to work with some of the greatest Americans I know...Soldiers. I was stationed on Active Duty in Germany before so I knew what to expect.

Being here, and working for the Army, I get all the benefits of registering an American car. It costs me $90 for a three-year registration and I don't have to pay any taxes on the purchase of the car until I take it back to the good-ole-USA!!! If you are interested you can check out a little video I made of when I picked it up in Bremerhaven. The vid was made for my family back home, and it's a little corny, but take a look anyway:

German Autobahns are fun in this thing. There are about 7 mustangs, maybe 10 challengers, 5 camaros, and 2 Corvettes on this little Army Post (that I know of). All driven by American Soldiers or civilians naturally. Since those types of cars are not seen a lot over here they all get attention on the German roads.

The reason I used Wolfgang's Sealant in the first place was because of a buddy that owns a Vette. He's been using it for years and his 2004 Vette looks like new. I figured I'd give it a shot and I'm very pleased with the outcome. Now, if I can master this little Flex L3403 then I'll be a very happy camper. :buffing:

Thanks again Autogeek!!! :dblthumb2:

Sorry for the double post, but for some reason I can't edit the post above. I suppose there's a time limit...No, I didn't read all the rules...LOL.

Anyway, I wanted to add that Autogeek ships to APO addresses. That makes us guys away from home very happy. There are a lot of businesses that refuse to ship to APOs for various reasons, but Autogeek is one of the good ones. I will consistently recommend Autogeek to anyone who listens. Those that care about their rides that is...

That's one sweet looking Mustang:props:

WG Sealant is an excellent choice.

Gott im Himmel… das dieses Silber ehrfürchtig schaut! :dblthumb2:
