texas law lets man buy house for $16!

pl....As stated beforCOLOR=red]1)[/e, this is happening all across this Country. There is a guy here who has taken possesion of a half dozen or more houses using this method. It was all over the news 6 months ago

2)Well, he's says he is living in the house, right? How in the hell do you live in a house WITH NO UTILITIES when the temps in Texas are 100 degrees daily? Sounds like super fun to me

That's an ignorant statement. I learned about this in a 100-level business law class. You can do pretty much the same thing with your property line, too. Keep pushing your line into your neighbor's and if they don't say anything for long enough, it's now considered yours.

I knew about this before the post, and I haven't and won't do it any time soon. And no, that's not BS.

I was trying to make a point that if someone taking a mandatory business class as a freshman in college knows about this, its not a big secret.

I wasn't trying to offend you.

Ignorant: ig·no·rant/ˈignərənt/Adjective - Lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about something in particular.

It was an ignorant statement, as was bringing race into the conversation and summarizing your thoughts as what everybody should think.

I'm ignorant about many, many things in life (especially law), but I'm okay with admitting it.

Race is a big factor here, if that man came to the door and he was white, we would not be having this conversation now. lets just call a spade a spade......
And again you continue to offend me. Your opinion is your own. everyone also has their own as well. My thoughts and opinions are mine and I never stated what anyone should think. Did you take Reading Comprehention is school as well. I ask this because you've seemed to have mis-quoted my statments.
I've been here long enough to know what I speak of. I've been here long enough to see "WHITE ONLY" signs in public places.....:nomore:

He did not take any food from anyones mouth, he didn't put a gun to anyones head and rob them. He thought of something that NONE of us would, which seems to show some sense of intelligence. The system has been screwing with everyone for a very long time. the fact that someone was able to use that same system and do what did, gives me hope.....

Again, not trying to offend you, but you seem to be trying to speak for people other than yourself in this post. I wouldn't even be talking about this now if it wouldn't have been posted on here. Has nothing to do with the color of his skin.

I highlighted the parts where, in my personal opinion, you make it very clear that you feel you know how everyone feels about the topic. I did miss the first "you guys", though. I apologize.
 
I fail to see where race plays any part in this. Seems like one person is wanting to make it a race issue and wants to try to push that same feeling off on the rest of us. Kaleb didn't bring up race and neither did the rest of us.

I still consider what the guy did stealing and I stand behind that. BTW I'm not white
