Hey guys, what would you guys recommend after M205? I'm going to . . .

Wash/remove LSP
IronX
Clay
Wash
Griots Garage Pre-wax cleaner
LC Orange + M105
LC White or black + M205
???????
Menzerna Power Lock
Collinite 845

I'm looking for that final jeweling before I start to apply PL. I was thinking Menzerna P085RD?

I'll be using a PC 7424XP. Any suggestions for finishing polish + pad would be awesome! Thanks everyone :)

would u care to elaborate a little more using rotary vs da? I have the product have not tried it yet. I'm not ready to jump to a rotary yet.

I would think that the pre wax cleaner would be a useless extra step where you have it listed. Why don't you move that step into the slot with the ????? as that should ad a little extra durability to the sealant.

I don't know anything about the GG pre wax cleaner. Is it a liquid such as prep-sol or is it more of a lotion that can be applied via machine? If it is more of a lotion or polish like product perhaps that will amplify the gloss a bit if used between 205 and your sealant.

Pre Wax Cleanser is used in place of IPA or mineral spirits to clean polishing oils after polishing. It should be used in the step after you polish to check your work/prep for LSP.

Yeah it just get the paint ready to accept the LSP like IPA would.

PO85RD works fine with a DA so no worries there!

Depending on the paint you could use white or black pad..possibly even blue.

What other questions do you have?

It's a great final polish :)

Griots Garage Pre-wax cleaner should be used right before you apply the sealant, not where you have it on your list.

To be honest, 205 finishes on most paint really good and you may not even notice a difference after using a fine polish. But if you do need/want to jewel, I would suggest 85rd or 3M Ultrafine with a black 5.5 inch thin pad or a crimson HT 5.5 inch thin pad. Jeweling does seem to work better with a rotary but if you take your time with the DA, you can get good results that way.

My bad, I meant to put it after 205.

So you guys think I'll be fine with just 205? I'm not looking to do extra work not to see some decent results since it'll be on my DD and also my girl friends DD. What else could I add to my order addition to Power Lock to get my order over $95 :D

A couple things I had in mind where. . .
-Some kind of wheel wax (DP wheel glaze) or anything you guys recommend
-Maybe some new pads
-Maybe some new microfibers
-ONR
-Dodo Juice Red Mist Tropical Protection Detailer
-303 Aerospace Protectant
-Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel 32 oz.
-Meguiars Hyper Dressing
-Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus

Just a few things off my wish list

I would skip the wheel wax andjust use the PL you have on your wheels. It will last way longer. All of the other stuff on your list are great products.......so thats a toss up for you! UTTG is certainly one of my favorite products!

Ok so just placed the order :) I literaly got $100 AG order in on Monday lol
