Got this car in late July. It was covered in holograms from either the dealer or the previous owner. But that doesn't matter because, they are coming out anyways:xyxthumbs:

Wash
-2BM with CGCW and microfiber mit.
-Front bumber and lower panels were sprayed with Bug Squash to remove bugs, tar, and other grime. I love this product and highly recommend it!
-Wheels, tires, and wells were previously cleaned with Simple Green.
-Dried with microfibers and FK425 as a drying agent (worked great).

Prep
-Clayed with CG blue clay and FK425 as lube.
-All plastic and rubber trim was taped off.

Correction
-M105 w/ LC Orange
-Medium polish w/ LC White
-Finishing polish w/ LC Gray
All correction was done with 7424XP and other two polishes are not named because of AG not carrying them.

Protection
-Two coats of Blackfire Wet Diamond.
-Two coats of Blackfire Midnight Sun.

All glass was cleaned with Diamondite Perfect Vision and sealed with Diamondite Glasswork Shield.

The pictures speak for themselves...

All comments are welcome!! Thanks for looking!

Great job! Nice turnaround and like mike said, awesome job of capturing the swirls in the before pics.

Not sure why you wanted to get rid of those sweet looking holograms? ;)
Great job! How'd you like the BFWD and BFMS combo?

That is identical to my car, except you have the painted moldings. Congratulations though, you will love it. Tint the windows 25% and get the new "spread out" Volvo logo for the deck lid! :xyxthumbs: I did and it makes the car look so much more aggressive in my opinion. Great job none the less. Make sure you have a wheel sealant for those wheels. You will need a few layers.

Nice job and you did a great job of capturing the swirls in the paint before you buffed out the car.

Thanks Mike. Getting better at capturing the defects.

Excellent work!

Thank you!

Gotta admit they made them look good..lol! This is the 4th time I have used the Wet Diamond and Midnight Sun combo, and I loved the outcome every time! The Wet Diamond makes the paint VERY slick. After putting the Midnight Sun on though, it did lose some slickness. But some FK425 brought some slickness back:xyxthumbs: Wet Diamond is my go to sealant at this time.

Great work...

I love the R's... They are a blast to drive.

How many miles, is it a Gobi interior?

Thanks! And they are a great car with that 5 cyl. Turbo under the hood and still getting about 26 MPG. It has just under 48,000 and yes it has the Gobi interior. Loving it so far!

I am loving it! Lol. And I did coat the wheels with Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. Two coats. I did this when I first got it. I took the wheels off so I could clean everything! Break dust won't be sticking to them for a while :dblthumb2:

You did a great job with the pictures but an even better job with the paint.
Congrats on the new car... enjoy it.
