Opti Coat 2.0 vs. Aquapel on Windshield

What do you guys prefer?

How do they compare, in terms of durability and beading of water?

Haven't used either but just from what I know about them . . . Opti Coat would probably last a lot longer because it is a permanent coating. Aquapel is like Rain-X on steroids, I ASSUME it would do a better job of repelling water but wouldn't last as long.

I'm not sure Opti-Coat would last much longer than Aquapel on the windshield given all the friction from the wipers. The best way to know is a test

For me, Aquapel lasts for 6 months easily, as advertised. It is also completely different from RainX, Aquapel makes a covalent bond with the glass. In other words, it sticks to the glass at the atomic level, while RainX is a coating that sits on the glass.
