Here is a pic of my other vehicle. It's a weekend car and I use mostly Wolfgang products on it. But i still used mothers reflection tire spray gold class auto wash and fx foam
Cleaner. So I guess you can say I always use mothers products in my cleaning regiment

In general in the south (maybe excluding Florida), non-chain (Advance, Autozone, etc) are virtually non-existent. There are some specialty 4x4 type places but little else.

I use the mothers crome cleaner..In fact, i used it on our stainless steel refridgerator and stove...it works absolutly amazing.!!

And as far as the other mothers products, they can go toe to toe with any brand out there. The big difference with guys that use Mothers Products is they tend to be less compulsive about detailing....they are not the type to use a 3 buckets wash, clay, rewash, meg 105 meg 205, layered sealant than layered carnuba ect ect. However, if they did do the complusive detailing there results using mother's only products would be as good as anyones in here...IMHO

make it a good sunday!

:iagree:I wish we had that sort of assorment around here. The only thing I don't see is the professional compounds, and glaze's. They've even got pure carnuba in paste form. How much was it?

Surely someone at Mothers can lead me to the largest Mothers dealer in my area.

Hey Bobby,
Second shelf just to the left of the Mothers products there's a a Blue Coral wash, a Meg's UC or polish, then some Eagle 1 products. Do you see what's to the left of the Eagle 1? I don't own it, and I've never seen it before other than AG, but it's there...what it is it? I'm pretty sure I recognize what it is...looks like Collinite to me.

Hi Bill,

It is a bit difficult to see but if I was a bettin man I'd say Collinite products too!!

I just looked at my last post here indicating the mother load not intending to create a pun but I guess I did and didn't realize it!

What it should have said was the "Mother" load!! :props:

I do believe it is some 845 sitting there. This place has the motherload of mothers and other detailing products.

You are lucky to have this near you.

I went by Autozone yesterday and they had maybe 5 or 6 products. They didn't even have any QD. I have to run to Pep Boys if I want to see a decent supply but no where close to what that picture shows

I wen to Pep Boys in my area; stunk as far as wash and wax products go; nothing there made me want to go back. They only had the basic retail products. I went to the mom-and-pop shop in my area and purchased Mother's Reflections Auto Wax; will pit this against my Dodo-juice Light Fantastic Soft Wax over the next several months.

They had the pro series polishes and glazes in another isle. They also had a huge selection of interior stuff. The Gold paste was ~$15

And yes, that is Collinite!

I have not found any Collinite products OTC around me:(

KOI (Savage paint supply) in Hamilton, Ohio carries a few OTC products as well as the Professional line, but they tell me they cannot order the paste wax.

Twenty miles north of the above...little hick town called Camden.

I can do that if you'd LMK where you are. BTW, putting a location in your profile would help others help you.

See above...thanks.:xyxthumbs:

Well would ya' look uh there! This guys got his own personal AG store right in his backyard. Must admit I'm a tad bit jealous. Lol! Gholly...3m paste wax, collinite 476, zymol cleaner wax, turtle wax black box...whewwweee ha ha...and not just one or two bottles.

Could you give us a wide view close up for cryin' outloud. You're kill'n me man.

I have tried Back to Black, Chrome Polish, and Mag and Aluminum Polish.

Back to Black is completely worthless, but the Chrome Polish is decent. Mag & Aluminum cleans nicely, but is not as aggressive as I would like.

I have tried these same products and formed pretty much the same exact opinion... Very disappointed in Back to Black, actually..

There have been numerous treads about Back-to-Black. One of hte biggest problems with that product is folks treat it like a wipe on/wipe off product.

It has cleaners in it, and in order for them to do a good job it needs to be worked on the surface. We recommend a terry cloth washcloth or towel, as microfiber doesn't have enough bite.

Mag Polish not aggressive enough? What's the application where it's not getting the job done? If we make it aggressive, it scratches the metal.

We took a tour of Preble County's covered bridges....remarkable structures. Even more remarkable: We were told that five of them are still used for daily traffic!

I should clarify that I didn't notice the point of the Mag and Aluminum Polish not being aggressive enough - I was agreeing that it was pretty "decent".

It was only The Back to Black I wasn't happy with- but I'll admit I thought it was "wipe on, wipe off", and did not know I was supposed to work it in like a paint polish. I still have the bottle, so I'll definitely give it another shot and try to remember to come back and post a new reply when I do.

And just to show I didn't mean to dog Mother's too much, I'll add in something else from Mother's that I have and that I do like, and found to be a pretty good price also- the Mother's Gold Clay Kit..

Yep, used every day...and I've had the pleasure of working on all of them...

EDIT:

...with the exception of a replacement and new "double barrel bridge" that will go back in it's rightful place near Hueston Woods State Park with construction scheduled to start yet this fall.
