Oh, ok, I already have a wheel sealant. Im looking for a product that brake dust doesn't stick to at all

Armor All has had that stuff for a while now. I have some and it works great for a week or two then it is gone and the wheels get nasty again.

None accumulated, but then again I don't have a Beemer

Maybe I should do a test and see how long it lasts

the AA product has a high silicone content and actually repells by being darn slick against brake dust , but it does wear off quickly around the first wash. Michellin products actually offered a similar version a couple years back too.

I remember when Michellin came out with that product, but it didn't work well.

We've had WA out for a while. The packaging is just different. It isn't the most attractive, but it works.

WA will repel dust, but it strength lies in making the dust much easier to remove. A wipe with soap and water and you are done. An aggressive wheel cleaner will remove it, but with WA installed, you shouldn't need a wheel cleaner. WA does have some cleaner in it, so it will remove road grime to a certain degree.

After the 4th day, 20-25 miles a day for 4 days. The product seems to be working well. The client told me that by now she would have already had to clean her wheels. (we all know this already lol)
 
Update****

I am set back a few days because my mother (her car) decided to clean her wheels when I urged her not to. haha

I will have more reports as soon as those wheels get dirty again.

As far as not, I really like the product.

Pro- Repels brake dust pretty well, washes up very easily and can be applied in a simple form (by hand).

Cons- Small bottle.
 
Here is an update**

These wheels have not been cleaned in over a week.

Verdict:
I would say this Wheel Armor is a great product. It does in fact repel brake dust, but even more so lets the wheels wash up a lot easier. First few pictures are of the wheels not being cleaned for over a week. The Last Five are of the wheels just being wiped down!!!

Before Cleaning (Left for a week and a few days) Although the product kept its end of the bargain there is still a little brake dust on the wheels.

Overall, like I stated above, the product worked extremely well with the ease of washing/cleaning the wheels. It worked pretty well in guarding the wheel against brake dust as well. I would recommend this product to anyone willing to watch it work!!
 
After this amount of time, how much brake dust would normally be on these wheels (considering the distance your mother traveled is the same)?

They would normally be soiled in black/greyish brake dust. Considering she drives 15-20 miles a day with a german car.
 
If it would normally be black and now only looks like that, then this stuff is truly impressive!

For it to look almost clean is unbelievable, gotta include some in my next order. Awesome :dblthumb2:
 
The wheel looks great and I'm curious to hear / see how durable the product is, how much brake dust is reduced and how easy it washes during routine maintenance...I'm not asking too much am I..?? :laughing:

Not for nothing but if those wheels looked like that after a week ( granted it also depends on how far the car was driven ? ) i'd say they looked great !? I had a bmw 3series before and after washing thend driving even just 10 miles one can see a slight coat of brake dust !! This i gotta try !!
 
Yes, the product truly impressed me. Remember the wheels are silver so it hides the brake dust pretty well. The wheels in the first pictures were dirty, but not soiled like they usually are. Every Audi, Mercedes and BMW owner would agree the carbon in the brakes is insane. I can say the product blew me out of the water entirely. I didn't think this would be the results, but happy They are.
 
Reviving and old thread. I just got the wheel armor and am anxious to try it today. I have a 2004 MINI cooper with white wheels and let me tell you, the brake dust shows up rather quickly. So I will post some pics with my experiences. Will post some up today of what my wheels look with 1 1/2 weeks of driving.
