I got my stuff organized...now lets see yours!

Ryan,

Cool collection! :props:

Your wife hasn't kicked you out of the laundry room yet?

It was her idea for me to move the stuff into there. We got some new appliances about a month ago and they have the pedestals so we can store the laundry soap in there. Previously I had 2 kitchen base cabinets that I was using. It was a PITA because they are so low (have to sit down on the floor to get my stuff) and I had child proof locks on them so I would have to unlatch them before opening. This is a much better setup excpet she can now see how much stuff I have (I have added more stuff since that pic was taken too)

Here's mine, I would love to get a different configuration, but for now this works with the space I have. I keep my product selection to pretty much the basics, polishes, sealant, wax, glass, tire, interior and soap. I don't keep multiple brands of the same type of item. I also don't do cars other than mine and the occasional friends.

Great job Charlie. When you first posted this I went out and got some of those plastic containers at the Dollar Store. My cabinets look great !!!!

Thanks Pat.... :Picture:

All you are missing is some nice "accent lighting" for those shelving units~
:props:

Does having a light to see down the side of a car during correction count?

How do you like that leather/vinyl repair kit? Does it actually work?

It's not terrible; but also doesn't give perfect results. I'm using it on some Mustang seats right now in fact, so look for it in a future write-up :props:

Cool.. I've got just a tiny tear (from wear) on the side of the driver's seat leather that I'd like to patch before it expands. Sounds like that might to the trick. Not a "high visibility" area, but I know it's there and therefore see it!

I remember when your wife gave up some kitchen cabinet space for your products, that was really cool!

I really like the setup in the laundry room. Having everything at chest level makes it easy to see and keep organized. :props:

My garage.

I need to shoot a more current image as I've added a lot to the collection. I do love my cabinets though. It keeps everything organized and in their place. The only issue I have is that I live in WI and the garage is unheated so I have to haul everything down to my lower level workshop during the winter months and back out in the spring.

:iagree: What a well organized and great looking setup you've got there....

You guys have some good collections, ie "supplies". Makes me look sane with only 15-20 bottles of stuff, some unused. :D

I was trying to find a thread for your own "Detailing Arsenal" before I started my own, and I found this...

Resurrection... boy what "searching" before starting a thread does for ya... Here's my arson for my mobile detailing company. I know it's not huge but I'm steadily doing 2-3 details weekly here in Chicago. Summer I do 4-6 weekly. Trying to grow the business! Been doing it since 2009 but 2011 I had back surgery and missed the whole year detailing, almost starting over again BUT detailing started mid-March so we are getting lucky with our 50's-60's weather right now!
:Not Pictured: Flex 3401vrg w/more pads/Foam Cannon/More MF towels/Wool pads/Air Compressor/Canopy/other misc items

I operate out of a Ford Ranger edge with Tonneu Cover. Thinking about trading in for a transit here soon.

Now for the pics! (sorry for "other" brands, but ya gotta have versatility)

Hard to see but there is Meguires Leather Cleaner and conditioner as well as their Tire Gel.

LOVE my new Nitrile gloves!

Cobra wash mitt, may be pricey but its fantastic. Meguires Wash in their as well.

The last picture is my self made mobile light stand. I had the stand Linex'd so it would never fade. I also carry rubber covers, for those Chicago windy days, just in case it flies away and hits something!
