An update for my friend "The Trashcan Guardian"

He's been living here for over a month now :welcome:

He's a pretty smart fellow making his web above where my trashcans are stored. I imagine a few flies must buzz through there on occasion... But who knew he would set his sights on larger prey...

He had his hands full with this locust and the creature in the next picture... At the SAME time!

I have to admit, when I take the garbage out at night it is almos pitch black on the side of the house and I am a little jittery when nearing the trashcans! :bolt:

Luckily the white wall behind him always gives him away if I look hard enough. The wife isn't quite so thrilled.

While I'm at it... heres a cool mushroom cloud I got a picture of on the way to work one day.

Great photography skills, That spider is very cool.

If birds and stray cats start going missing, you may need to call in an air strike ... just saying :D

Great pictures, glad you and Spider Bro are getting along :)

Thanks Tom! Just snapped a few pics... Not cool like the pictures you showed me earlier but the content I though was interesting! Thanks again for showing me around your garage and all the cool things your into. Awesome work, your wife will be thrilled.

Oh yes! Hair spray and a lighter must be kept within arms reach if it gets out of hand!

She actually said I had to kill him last month but I refused. She then said she would have "the bug man" kill him but "the bug man" seems to be lazy and never showed up

I just showed her these pictures thinking she would grow a fondness for him but I forgot to think in reverse before speaking to a woman folk! Instead she was more determined than ever that I kill him!!

She did say I could relocate him but I don't think I'll be taking that on...

Funny thing about the birds Bill. In PNG we had a spider web that was as stong as a tennis net. It was owned by a community of spiders that instead of seperating when they are born they congregate and add on to the "communal web" It becomes thicker longer and wider and continues to grow and grow in all dimensions over time. Birds did indeed fall victim... There skeletons and humble remains told the tale.... Didn't want to walk into that in the middle of the night

Nice job Corey and maybe you want to keep your distance from that spider otherwise you might find yourself on menu!!

You might want to keep your distance. I thinks thats a "one eyed, 8 legged, yellow, purple people eater". hehehe
