I just received my first order from Autogeek. Everything looked great until I was halfway through the box and pulled out a weird looking brush (definitely not something I ordered.) Then I opened up one of the wrapped items and it had a wheel cleaner inside that I also did not order. At first I was thinking that maybe these were some type of labor day promotion and got excited but I kept going through the box and about half the items I purchased were not inside.

At this point I was kind of bummed out since I would have to wait another week to receive what I actually ordered but I figured it would not be so bad since I have read plenty of comments about how great Autogeek's customer service is. Well I just finished talking with one of the customer service representatives and he stated that the products that I ordered do not match what is on my invoice and that I would essentially have to prove what I actually ordered. Luckily I printed out my order summary page (hopefully I still have it sitting on my desk at home.) so I think in the end I will end up getting what I ordered.

Has anyone else experienced this type of problem in the past?

Re: First order with Autogeek - Not so great

What is your order number?

Re: First order with Autogeek - Not so great

I have ordered from AG many times and never a problem. Hey just call or email them and they will make it right. If you did not print out your order I'm sure it's on your order confirmation email.

Re: First order with Autogeek - Not so great

Either way, AG will make it right. Even the best of us has brain farts from time to time. It's the ones that need Brain Beano you gotta watch out for.

Re: First order with Autogeek - Not so great

Looked up the order and found the problem, you ordered last weeks VIP right as we changed it on the website. (well that is my guess based on what you received) If you put a VIP in your shopping cart and check out after we change it, it will give you the newer one by default. Just keep it, and we will send you the VIP you meant to order. When you check your phone you will find we left you a voice mail. Give us a call back and we will get you taken care of!

Re: First order with Autogeek - Not so great

Wow, double VIP! You can't beat that! Now...if I can just time my next order just right....

I'm kidding Meghan :p

Re: First order with Autogeek - Not so great

IMO posting a single issue on a forum is rather poor form. AG has amazing service, why didn't you call or email them?

Good luck with that, this has only happened about three times in the history of VIP, you will have to have perfect timing! BUT if you do you are more then welcome to keep it!! :props:

:iagree: I received an order yesterday and it had a leaky problem, so I just waited and called this morning and everything is taken care of, replacement products are on the way. No need to post it in the forums.
:dblthumb2: to AutoGeek and their service, Top notch all the way!!!

I also had a "leaky" problem awhile back. Being somewhat 'pi$$ed', as it were, I posted to Kimberly-Clark's forum about their 'shoddy' service...that I had received the "Guards for Men" instead of the "Depends for Men".

When I finally got around to making a phone call:

I was told, quite bluntly, that: "We would have shipped your original order...free of charge...you would have been able to keep the non-ordered product (no strings:) attached)... if only you would have called/emailed us with your order mix-up...instead of going the "post-to-the-internet-to-try-to-make-us-look-bad" route. Sorry about you luck".

Talk about a "leaky" problem....I couldn't differentiate that 'problem' from the tears I had shed.:(

From that lesson I learned: No more complaints from me on any online forums for any mix-ups!! Im the MAN

I wish others would follow suit. OOOPPS...that's almost a complaint. :)

:iagree: Shows a lack of class and is so self-important all at the same time.

Pick up the cell phone or other voice conveyance and actually TALK to them rather than berating them on a public forum for one silly mistake. BTW: I'm looking for that "Thank You" for not only making it right, they GAVE you a 2nd VIP.

Re: First order with Autogeek - Not so great

If YOU had taken time to read the original post you would've seen where he DID call customer service. He was just sharing his first order experience with the rest of us, which before now has been perfectly acceptable based on other people's similar posts in the past. Just because a few of you DON'T agree with it DOESN'T make it wrong. Last time I checked, Autogeek (Megan) decided what's/what's NOT acceptable on the forum!!!

Thank you. I guess one person skipped reading my original post and then other's probably picked up on what that person said.

I understand you guys are passionate about AG but feedback is important (even when it is critical) so that they can continue to improve. I would like to thank Meghan and Nick for taking care of this so quickly.

ps: is there a way to edit the title of the post?

I think it's kinda funny!! You gotta be out of your mind to come here and post that.. He shoulda known that he would have got a beat down!! He must not know how loyal AG customers are..

Re: First order with Autogeek - Not so great

In the end, people will see this thread, see a human mistake, and ultimately see AG's excellent customer service in repairing the mistake quickly and efficiently

Three times! I want to be number 4 please!! :props:

I can sympathize with your situation and would be as disappointed as you. That said, no system is infallible but I'll bet you if you ran the numbers you'd find Autogeek's packaging and shipping is over 99% fulfillment rate.

:iagree:

He probably also called the Better Business Service, started a blog on AG poor service, Tweeted and Facebook'ed it.
