Re: First order with Autogeek - Not so great

I have such a short term memory. I check BOGOs and VIPs on a DAILY BASIS even though I know they only change every other week and weekly respectively. I remember last week's VIP was some wheel brush Datona big one, but what was the VIP before it? The VIP before the one I can't think of is the foam gun!

Re: First order with Autogeek - Not so great

IMO posting a single issue on a forum is rather poor form. AG has amazing service, why didn't you call or email them?

I agree 100%. Autogeek staff are probably some of the best out there for customer satisfaction. Calling them out on a forum is bad taste. You even said yourself that you have read rave reviews about them. Im pretty disappointed with this thread and had to write something.

Keep up the EXCELLENT work Autogeek staff! I know and most here know, you will always look after us. Thats what makes this such a good site, and Autogeek such a good company to deal with.

Re: First order with Autogeek - Not so great

I prob received over 10 big boxes over the past 3 months, each box with about $100-$150 of products, everytime they have been packaged perfectly...all the products are either filled to the top of the box with packing peanuts or the brown papers. The only time I have my product damage was when my OPC Gallon was smashed into the shape of a hour glass. Other than that, Autogeek has been great with their packaging and outstanding Customer Service.

Wow. For those who insist on not reading my original post:

1) I did contact AG staff before posting
2) I posted my comments about that interaction in the forum that is labeled "customer comments"
3) Problem has since been fully resolved

Re: First order with Autogeek - Not so great

But you just did.

I stated a small reference to a problem to use as an example, I didn't start a new thread with the words "Autogeek - Not so great".

Re: First order with Autogeek - Not so great

I think AG will be double checking VIP orders. They might do something techie in their ordering system that will indicate when a VIP order was added to the list. They will be uber diligent this time. I bet there will be no more lucky number 4.

This is the the Customer Service Section. I don't mind if I reading few problems with regard to ordering from autogeek. This will not only help other people who will be ordering in the future, but will also help AG to improve its already great service or fix problems in their online shopping system program or whatever you call it.

Please give the thread starter a break. He just shared his shopping experience with AG. On the contrary, threads like these instead even show AG's well-loved customer's service. The way I see it, the thread did not in any way destroyed AG's reputation; it rather strengthen it. Besides, the problem was caused by the thread starter forgetting that VIP deals expire.

All is well. Keep detailing!

Re: First order with Autogeek - Not so great

I just received my first order from Autogeek. Everything looked great until I was halfway through the box and pulled out a weird looking brush (definitely not something I ordered.) Then I opened up one of the wrapped items and it had a wheel cleaner inside that I also did not order. At first I was thinking that maybe these were some type of labor day promotion and got excited but I kept going through the box and about half the items I purchased were not inside.

At this point I was kind of bummed out since I would have to wait another week to receive what I actually ordered but I figured it would not be so bad since I have read plenty of comments about how great Autogeek's customer service is. Well I just finished talking with one of the customer service representatives and he stated that the products that I ordered do not match what is on my invoice and that I would essentially have to prove what I actually ordered. Luckily I printed out my order summary page (hopefully I still have it sitting on my desk at home.) so I think in the end I will end up getting what I ordered.

Has anyone else experienced this type of problem in the past?

I think there is something to be learned from this thread.... I see it this way...I clearly understand how nadroj may have felt originally. I too, have anxiously awaited a visit from the UPS guy knowing it contained cherished goodies. Certainly, it must have been disturbing to receive items that didn't match his order. I get it... I would have been frustrated too if I felt like I had to provide proof of a mistake.

However, I don't know if I would have been quite so quick to post a thread about it. (just me)

Now, here is what is so impressive.....response after response jumped to defend AG. I think that is impressive. How many companies have customers that defend their customer service? In short, it hardly ever happens.

AutoGeek has a reputation for excellent customer service. Customers defend it because it has been EARNED over a long period of time. Much easier to say than do.

Case in point...not only was the situation resolved, Nadroj received what he ordered plus the previous VIP. I would bet AutoGeek lost money on this transaction. Very few companies would go to that extent to satisfy its customers. Kudos to AG.

For the record, like most here, I have a perfect record of 100% satisfaction with products, education and customer service.

Thanks AutoGeek
