conclusion when it is well preps & protected - it shall stand the test of time

Thank You Doc G for your wonderful invention

Wow!! Amazing durability!

Love your pic and description heavy threads!

btw how did you remove the scratches and scuffs? did you need to re-coat those areas with OC after that?

Hey I have a GTI and was wondering what you used for the black b-pillar/side pillar to get it nice and swirl free.

I have tried many things and haven't gotten good results as those panels are so soft.

Would you mind sharing your process with me?

Hi buddy
pleasure is mine

the 1st time when we preps the ride, prior before coating

we polish it with LC 3" pad with OHP white foam pad & finish it with LC 3" pad with OHP red foam pad

KC, another testament to your skill and detailing expertise! :props:

I've seen you take trash and turn it into a sparkling jewel and this is no exception. Optimum Opt-Coat 2.0 seems to have scored another bullseye and 13 months later it's still on watch....:props:

Thanks Sohail99
I did not recoat ...any ...as i wanted to test how well optimum coating last in tropical & acid rain inflicted country of ours.

for your kind words, i did the water hosing down test... power clean for him, left a bottle of OPC after my 3rd month visit.... he is Skeptical of POWER CLEAN which i gave him to maintain himself....he was too worried to use it....as it was professional products

What happen after opti coating is, we have an additional coat of clear, that doesnt prevent the car from getting dirty but makes cleaning so effortlessly & more scratch resistant

initially he complaint - how come opti coating wear off so quickly...After I showed him how i Power clean ....he was amazed that how this coating lasted as compare initially with his friends coating. Now that he has seen and also asked me to opti coat his cayman, his new A4

conclusion
this car is park daily outdoor on a busy trunk road, very near to industrial area...at times under the tree ...mostly wash by car wash, as they are tight with time'

far best coating i ever experience..
ma ma mia - the best that any owner can request

That Vdub sure cleaned up nice. Good to see the Optimum worked.

thank you sir

Awesome work, I got to play with this stuff. Was it hard to catch on for your first time?

Thanks Desert Detail for your kind words
Not at all.... initially was kinda over worried, as it is a permanent coating that can only be removed by wet sanding or compounding... we even sign an indemnity form to state, if Sxxx happen we are fried....LOL

well it is just as easy applying as Opti seal.....effortlessly easy..the key is lighting...lighting....lighting after a well preps surface

and get the professional version more its kinda more durable

Nike says"just do it"

Great pics and commentary. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Kimtyson
