Bump for some help for Thursday night .
We have you, Robert and myself on rotary buffers and I'll have at least 3-4 other guys that will be following us with either a Flex 3401 or a DA Polisher.
Matt and Nick, here at Autogeek will probably stick around and help too...
New compound and polish formulas to test out...
The previous versions of the compounds and polishes we're going to use work great and from what I've been told over the phone, these new versions are even better, so my confidence is already high that we'll be able to tackle this project in the allotted time.
Plus this isn't factory paint, it's a custom paint job and more often than not custom paint is softer than factory Corvette paint.
I'll have everything set-up before anyone arrives,
- Rotary buffers, pads and backing plates ready to go...
- Flex 3401s with pads and backing plates ready to go
- PC, GG and Megs DA's with pads and backing plates ready to go...
I have at least one returning student, Virgil, from one of my Detailing 101 classes attending and he has his own detailing business so he's going to be a real asset to the project.
This will be the last Thursday night class for a couple of weeks as I'll be traveling next week and out of town. Not sure about the first week of October but the second week I'll be out of town again.
