Garry, how much would you charge me to package and ship some to me? No joke.
 
My neighbor flies up to Alaska every so often and shoots an elk or moose.

When he gets back his wife makes twenty pounds or so of jerky. All different flavors. And it's the best jerky I have ever had. beef jerky just can't compete.

Once he figured out how much it cost per piece. When he included cost of air fare, tags, guides, guns, etc it came out to about $6.00 for each piece.

Jerky is not cheap. By the time you buy all of the spices and the meat and spend all of the time slicing, prepping, marinating, and waiting for it to dehydrate, it is far more expensive to make your own. It just tastes better fresh and seasoned to my liking.

I've never made my own but my sisters make it and homemade is the very best!!

I hope to be at Detail Fest 2012 so if there's any left I look forward to trying it with an ice cold beer!! :props:

Maybe I should work for the TSA for the day, cannot bring more than 2 ounces onboard your flight. CONFISCATED !

I have all of the covered. My friend and webmaster lives in Oxnard, CA and will be meeting me in Vegas. I am going to mail him a package and he will drive it to me.

With any luck I will have more than jerky for you guys in Vegas! Working on a new project!

I am mailing a package to my friend in CA that will be driving over to Vegas to meet me. I am sure TSA wont allow 10+ pounds of jerky in my carry on.
