Road trip help

Greetings Geeks,
I am flying out to Dallas on Friday to pick up a car I bought. I will be driving it back to Florida. I intend to push as far as I can and hopefully make it to Vicksburg or Jackson, MS on Friday night. If anyone is from that area, could you help me out with places to avoid, bad hotels, etc? I really dont feel like getting my car stolen or car jacked.

LOL. How did you ever guess? I picked up a 2000 996 Millenium edition. Got a deal I couldn't pass up and home she comes. Driving from Texas to Florida will certainly make me and the car know one another well.

When you find a decent looking hotel ask the desk if you can leave your "new" car under the canopy. Tell them of your paranoia.

It will probally be the nicest looking car to ever sit there overnight. Gotta be good for their business.
 
Good advice Flash, thanks. getting ready to board the plane and leave Florida. I will post some road trip pics if I come across anything interesting along the way. Maybe I will see the worlds biggest ball of yarn or something.

Ha! According to google earth there isn't a whole lot to see between Texas and Florida. This is gonna be one lonely ride!

Oh come on...there's always plenty to see everywhere...especially when looking over the dash of a new (to you) Porsche!

They'll probally think your famous. They'll probally be hoards of chicks knocking on your door. They'll probally all be sittimg on the hood of your car getting their picture taken :Picture:
