That is interesting. Improve the Liquid Souveran formula to make it last a little longer but not as long as Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. Hmm...
Or maybe rename DGPS to Liquid Fuzion?

I don't want to belabor this, but sure, #16 was popular on detailing forums, especially once it was discontinued. Since a can of #16 might be able to cover 30-40 cars, what do you think the market is for that...10,000 cans? And what is the market after all of us forum junkies have a can...500/year?
Wal-Mart has about 4400 stores in the US, Target about 1750, Pep Boys over 500, Advance Auto about 3500, AutoZone over 4000. That's over 14,000 stores, so let's just say that each of them sells only 6 bottles of NXT a year, that's about 85,000 bottles...EVERY YEAR...and that's pretty conservative.
Maybe I'm way off on what the market for #16 is/was...

I'm thinking a true "Fuzion Polymer" based liquid wax. Liquid Souveran is a liquid version of the paste wax. I keep thinking how great fuzion looks and how easy to use it is, But I like liquid waxes for machine application and not being able to contaminate the wax.

No, I'm sorry, that is what this thread was about. Just that #16 is kind of a been there, done that product for Meguiar's; we all complained when they stopped selling it here, but that didn't change their minds, as Mike Phillips explained to us at the time, there just wasn't a big enough market for it to justify a reformulation.

I think it's an absolute necessity that someone releases a kit that has a wax that can top a sealant, that can top an upper layer coating, that can be applied to the tertiary coating, that is applied to the secondary coating, which is protecting the primary coating.

More led type work lights to replace halogen work lamps that get so darn hot. I picked up one of the new led units offered at Menards but it could use a lot more led bulbs and is weak in the output of needed light. Maybe one about 8"square with about 60 or more bulbs with multiple output settings.

They are a GREAT alt. in the summer because halogen's kick off too much heat!

You know, if carmakers came up with extremely resilient yet polishable topcoats for their paint systems (a version of what Mike keeps iterating), there would be little need to seal the paint with anything in the first place!
