Thats my problem ^ Everyone wants to bithc, but they continue to elect the same ppl over and over again. The American ppl are idiots it saddens me to say

Oh, and BTW, I have plenty of snot to sling for the Republican too ;)

If anyone doubts there should be term limits on public office positions, all you need to do is look at Nancy Pelosi.

Their not!

What about Ted, submarine captain, Kennedy, and Barny, I can't talk with a mouthful, Frank in MA!!

Answer: Lifetime Term Limits

That's because neither he nor I are politically correct...

Massachusetts Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren started a tiff during a Tuesday night debate when she said she “kept her clothes on” when she was in college. Republican Senator Scott Brown, whom Warren hopes to replace, famously posed semi-nude in Cosmopolitan magazine while he was a law student.

Responding Thursday on WZLX radio, Senator Brown said, “Thank God.” :)

Now Nancy Pelosi is demanding an apology!!

American politics at its finest, again our representatives...

She took a swing at him, and now she is upset that he punched back.

:iagree: Both parties are at fault, one more than the other....It's hard to elect someone to represent the people of America when the politicians that get elected have tons of Corprate $$$ contributions in their coffers....It should be coffins IMO, the way they have driven this country's economy down!!

WAKE-UP WASHINGTON!!!!

I have to work 10 hours or I probably would.

See, now you are just being greedy. You should split those 10 hours with one of those unemployed protesters. You work the first 5 and he/she can work the second 5.
Just don't make any plans for immediately after your shift is over.

Good news on all this according to Winston Churchill-

“You can always count on Americans to do the right thing - after they've tried everything else.”

A couple of years ago the Wife and I were discussing the fact that we remembered the protests of the 1960's, by whom they were initiated, and for what causes. We both felt that today's youth had been stung so severely in the opportunity of obtaining a fair standard of living; and, until they voiced their concerns, perhaps by "taking it to the streets", their plight could well be overlooked.

Fast forward...Now it's not just the youth of our country that's been affected, but people from every walk of life, it seems.

I'm glad to see a 'demonstration' from some people expressing the concerns felt by way too many others in our Country. I just hope these demonstrations don't evolve, or devolve, into the ugly scenes that happened to areas such as Watts, Detroit, and Kent State in the 60's.

BTW....I am still puzzled (absolutely aghast and abhorred) by the power the Lobbyists have...Why are they the ones legislating? Can't "We the People" stop this "obscene demonstration"?

Let it all out ppl!!!

Flash feels your frustration :)

So Flash, how long did you work as a community organizer before you began your detailing career?

Speaking of organizing (and my detestation for Lobbyists):

My Dear, Dear Wife is currently at the "grassroots level" of starting her own Political Action Committee: Save Our Bob(s)...{S.O.B.'s...her acronym, not mine.}.

The suggested donations of $2.00 or more may be forwarded to:

FUNX725@RetirementFundBeMine(dot)net-not-gross

I say: God Bless Her Sweet Soul!!! I may just have to re-evaluate how I feel about Lobbyists now. :)

Coming to you live from The Communist Republic of Massachusetts ....

{RANT ON}

We need to collectively speak loudly and clearly this next election.
•We need to elect people who have some real life business experience.
•We need to enact term limits.
•We need to eliminate lobbyists.
•We need to take back our country.
•We need to make all elected and all government officials live like we do with Social Security and Medicare. Enough of this serving for a bit and get pensions and health care for life. If we are a country of the people, for the people, and by the people why does it seem like it is more like stick it to the people?

Of the People? Are we a country of lawyers? Why then are 90% of our elected officials all lawyers?

By the People? Are we lobbyists? That's who seems to be running the country.

For the People? When has our government done anything for us lately? Looks like it is only for a few elites.

2012 elections are right around the corner. Pay close attention to the candidates. Insist on these changes. Take our country back from the elitists and corrupt politicians. We need to stop our elected officials from spending us into oblivion.

Groups who all of a sudden start to march make me ask, WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU WHEN THESE SOB's STOLE OUR COUNTRY, OUR FUTURE AND OUR CHILDREN'S FUTURE?

I'm now of a mind to vote out any incumbent just for that fact alone. Who gave our elected officials this much power over us? Answer: no-one, they just took it and we as sheep said nothing as our constitution is being trampled by slick lawyers.

Our administration and congress has made America poison for manufacturing and business in general. They have effectively regulated business out of the country. We've regulated, eliminated or banned our local energy production. We have resorted to borrowing 41cents of every dollar the government spends and they are too stupid to stop spending. It is time to take they credit card away. It is too easy to spend someone else's money to get votes. We have the highest corporate tax rate in the world. So how is that good for jobs? OTOH, We have allowed over half of our country to avoid paying any taxes whatsoever. Where does anyone think the money will come from? I mean, China is becoming the owner of the USofA as we sit by and watch like sheep while our government hands over the keys. I fear we are in serious jeopardy of losing our very freedom, that which made us the greatest country in the world.

Just look at the direction we are headed in and then look at your children and grandchildren and wake the hell up people. I doubt we will get another chance if we screw up this next election.

I hope these groups (Occupy Wall Street) and others get enough traction to take the country back for the people. Unfortunately, the real problem isn't Wall Street. I'd place the majority of the problem with our elected officials. We need to redirect all our attention to Congress and the administration. We need to stop letting them manipulate us. My 2012 election mantra is: "THROW THE BUMS OUT!"

Sadly the majority of our country is just oblivious to what is going on around them. They never cease to amaze me with their ability to bury their head in the sand like an ostrich when confronted with a danger.

Bless you my son!! :urtheman:
