crows feet in head lamps?

i'm not talking about hitting bird, or being stuck in some alfred hitchcock movie...

see the attached images and let me know what your thoughts are on the crows feet in the clear plastic lenses of these head lamps.

These have been present since we purchased the car used and I'm unsure they can be removed.

actually, the above image is part of the series of photos after "sealing" the lights with spar urethane and mineral spirits.

the photos are scaled down a bit and don't quite show the crows feet correctly, but they appear to be from the inside of the lamp. *not sure*

i wet sanded with 1500, 2000 and then used the 3000 on my griots polisher, thinking a bit more sanding would remove the crows feet.

might just be time for a new set of lamps.
