Got a gig at Busch stadium for the World Series-

Never in my life have I ever experienced anything like this! The opened the gate where we were watching the game and I ran out on the field screaming! I can't believe it didn't get in trouble!

Hopefully that beautiful new vette will be locally owned so you can keep doing the maintenance washes on it!

Woohoo:dblthumb2: We live to fight another day.

Hope I get to leave work early today. It was hard to get out of downtown so I could get home to watch the game.:D

Sleep. Need sleep. Went to Paddy O's after the game. Home 3 am. Have reservations at Joe Buck's for 5 PM.

I think I'll sleep on the plane to Vegas tomorrow morning.

What a game. I almost fell asleep when I intended to...almost...

I haven't done stayed up most of the night in a LONG time...I can't do it. I don't know how you're functioning.

LOL I went out to eat at 1 was home at quarter till 2 and was asleep at 2....and I stand a redline at 11pm...but I don't drink.

but I don't drink.

I had 1 drink all night (before the game, at Cunetto's). But in my mid 50's this being up late is really rough. We were celebrating with all the crazy people, not drinking. We couldn't have driven out of the parking garage if we wanted to.

No tix for tonight, unless I find some on the street for a "reasonable" price (and reasonable being if my wife is near me at the time of negotiations). But we'll still go to the rally at Joe Buck's - look for me, I'll be the one wearing red.....

Clean that 'Vette up for Freese. Albert who?

I can't believe the game I saw last night. Strangest thing ever. For my Rangers to only need one strike to end the game twice and not get it...

As much as I wanted the Rangers to win it last night I have to say this series has been amazing.

Last night after the game I thought about looking for tickets to the game and airline tickets. I figure I could take the red eye and skip work.

In the end the responsible voice in my head spoke up and told me to go to bed.

Now you know the vette that rolls out isn't always the one the player gets? They get to choose their color and customize it. There was an article on MLB about David Eckstein and the vette that he won. Pretty cool

My brother lives in Argyle, up by Denton - he, my sister and law and 3 of their 4 sons are die-hard Cardinal fans. The black sheep of their family is a Rangers fan.

I think he slept in the garage last night. Serves him right for going to UNT.

It is certainly a beautiful day here today, for a World Series game 7.

So there is one smart person in the family...

I've been a Ranger fan all my life. I remember when I was little going to the old Arlington Stadium to watch them play. I had an official Rangers on field jacket in elementary school. I use to be made fun of for meting a fan. Seems like more people are Rangers fans after the way they played last year.
