black nitrile gloves

I use them for cleaning wheels and engine bays since they are usually pretty nasty, and I also use them when cleaning nasty interiors. Never know what your going to run into in some vehicles. Otherwise I don't use gloves.

Pretty much this. I don't use them when doing any paint correction, waxing, etc.

I don't wear them more than I do. However, I always have some "in stock".

They also work great for removing hair from carpet/upholstery.

I pretty much wear them for the full detail, replacing when necessary.

They are also fantastic for oil changes.

I always hated plastic & rubber gloves as they made my hands sweat. The nitriles don't so I find myself using them more often, frequently around the house and garage when using harsh cleaners, shoe polish or anything I don't particularly want to get on my hands. As Bill mentioned, perfect for keeping hot oil off your mitts during oil changes! I don't know as I'd run out and buy a big box of 'em, I got a few freebie sample pairs with an order. Very nice product! :xyxthumbs:

Agreed with most other posts, awesome for oil changes or basic cleaning in the engine. I use them for 95% of the detail process, awesome for when your cleaning the wheels and undercarriage. Also they give you a great feel, a lot more sensitive than I would have ever figured. I always take them off when doing my final QD/spray wax for some reason.

I wear them for wheels, interior cleaning, dressing tires, engines, oil changes, around the house cleaning when using bleach, etc. They come in very handy...speaking of which...my stock is running low...

That's good to know about the sweat part. I started out using latex ones last week when I was using UIGP on our cars because I'd read that Corey used them when I was reading his review of the product. Figured there must be something going on where it's a good idea. I had to take them off 1/2 way through the first car though cause they kept filling up with sweat and then spilling out on the surfaces I was trying to seal. I want something for sure because Tyromania makes a MESS of your hands/fingers otherwise. I've been debating whether to grab the sample pack here and figure out which size I need or just grab a box from the local big name hardware store. I don't know if there's differences in materials or thicknesses though.

I use them when I wear my mask :)

definitely for wheels and apply tire dressing, wheel dressing, and when doing my ipa or klean strip wipe downs. Saves time scrubbing out for finger nails :)

Just about everything but washing the car. Getting nasty chemicals stuck in your fingernails is a real pain!
