Pictures or Youtube?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I'm going to throw my .02 in on this poll....I like Garry Dean's vid's, he is very informative on what he has done to the vehicle he is working on.

I also like the everyday Detailer pics (the kind of cars I would probably work on) as opposed to the high-end Detailer's Show and Glow pics of cars I'll never even pass on the road much less get to use my skills on. Good for the guys that get to work on them but I learn more from every day Detailers.

I don't mean to step on any toes this is just my .02 FWIW...Thanks Flash for the good thread.

I like to use both.

When movement does not matter pictures are much better than video no question.

When movement is involved such as water sheeting, application of a product, etc. video is better.

Most people in general I think prefer pictures.

When someone posts a video of their work, it forces me to have to view their entire video to make sure I didn't miss anything. All this does for me, is make me not watch them at all

With pictures, you get to decide what, and how long you want to view. Still shots are much more effective IMO :Picture:

Photos. I do like videos that show the polishing process and provide tips.

Both, pics for before/after and 50/50. And video for informative stuff like how to clay, taping, polish, etc....

Pictures and only video if it's a how to. Most videos I hit the back button. I love before and afters!

A prime example is Autolavish......where has Jacob been????
