To have an opportunity to learn techniques from one of the best in the industry is a no brainer! A copy of Mikes book would be a great asset to my detail arsenal.

Mike provides the very best of experience, and knowledge. And I feel if I am going to master this craft then it must be from a master like Mike.

I started down this road just a few months ago. Came in knowing NOTHING about what to do, and more importantly, what NOT to do in the world of detailing. What I've learned to date I've learned from this site, Mike's vid's and his responses in the forum.

All of that, and I know I've still only scratched the surface.

well, #1 reason why i want this book is to have a quick reference i can look at if i'm at a clients house and get stuck on something, be great for that, also want to learn some more tips,tricks,techniques from the man mike phillips himself! eyes get sore reading on the forums sometimes so would be great to have the book!.so yeah i want to learn more about the art of detailing. good luck everyone!.

I have Mike's DVD from Autogeek, the one him and Richard did, and those are what I learned polishing paint from. I also have a rough draft of the first book Mike started writing when he had his own Showcargarage.com site. Now to own this one with all the new things Mike has learned since doing the other ones would be fantastic.

To learn from the best. I have all his links saved in my favorites...if one day there was no internet...I would not be lost because I can turn to the physical copy! I will probably never be as great as Mike in detailing, but to be half as great would be an accomplishment.

I have already learned a lot from Mike's postings on AG and his book would be an excellent resource to learn from.
 
Mike's huge volume of work is available numerous places online, finding what you're looking for is sometimes a chore. A handy reference would be..... umm.... well....handy!

With the huge volume of posts and articles Mike puts out in addition to the numerous projects he always appears to be busy working on I kinda figured he lived at Autogeek. :poke:

i feel like this book will further my knowledge in the detailing field. and all the knowledge i will learn will be passed on to family, friends, co workers and select customers.
 
Well count me in, though I would rather an e-book not a physical book. I am trying to get to a more paperless life.

As a detailer I feel like I am a perpetual learner, and getting this book would be another chance to pick up new details and techniques.
 
I have on the AG for over a year. I have learned but there is still plenty to learn. It would be great to have a handy reference book written by somebody who is clearly an expert in the art of detailing.

I just recently got into detailing full time and would love to learn from the best and expand my thirst for knowledge. I've watched all of Mike's videos and can only imagine what i could learn from his book.
