Happy Friday Ladies and Gents!!!! Thank God the week is over. I wanted to dedicate today's song of the day to my friend who passed back in July. Earlier this year she bought her dream car which was a Ford Mustang GT. This song was very fitting for her, and we played it at her memorial service. This one's for you Cindy...

This week has been torture for me because all week long I've been wanting to finish my detailing project I started last weekend, however my car is sitting in my fiance's garage the next state over. Luckily my pop's let me borrow his Durango, however $70 bucks for gas sucks donkey ba!!s. I'm pretty sure there are some of you out there that pay more than what I paid and I really feel your pain.

Anyways, this weekend will be dedicated to finishing my car so that my fiance can have her garage back. What do you guys and gals have planned?

Damn its Friday already????man Its hell getting old I thought it was wed!

Everything I've got planned is weather dependant....and right now its not looking good.:(

Who are you telling....I'm having a hard time with short term memory...I didn't sign up for this getting of ish and I'm only 31! Its about to get cold here and they're calling for rain and snow tomorrow. WTF?! I will hopefully be trying out the m105/205 combo this weekend.

Today is tire install on Porsche and brake job tonight. Saturday I am hauling Mrs. Pilot to some fall festival. I am looking forward to a corn dog and sweet potato french fries. Not looking forward to browsing booths of homemade jams, scarecrows, pumpkins and other assorted crap that I will have to haul home and store somewhere.

Weather is supposed to be high in the 60's with a nice Noreaster breeze of 20kts. No rain or snow in sight.

I'm agreeing with Tim that this week has flown by...I have nothing on the board for today or tomorrow, so I guess I'll try and score some points with Mrs. Cutter and get her car nice and clean.

As for the weekend, Mrs. Cutter has to work tomorrow and Sunday after Church she has a Baby Shower to attend so I guess I'm on my own.

Anticipating next weekend and the Alabama vs. L.S.U. game!!! RTR!!!! :dblthumb2:

LMAO @ "hauling Mrs. Pilot to some fall festivals" Sounds like you guys are going to have a nice weekend. The weather sounds awesome...I'm growing tired of the cold weather. I need somewhere where its nice all year long but I don't think the fiance is down for that. She likes her seasons and will not give up her cush job.

I need to do the same for my fiance...for the past three weekends in a row, I've cleaned my car. I usually try to be good and rotate the weekends. I can tell she's starting to get annoyed because I haven't done her's in awhile. But she'll have to wait...LOL!

YES TGIF indeed. This week will not end! No real plans for the weekend, haircuts for the kids, clean up the van, some yard work and that should be it.

That too! Part of cleaning the van would be using the glass master!:xyxthumbs:

Also might polish\wax the summer wheels, but that may wait until spring though.

I think I'll be getting one of them soon. I absolutely HATE cleaning windshields and rear windows.

Halloween party on Saturday and that's about it. Probably ONR the cars on Sunday after recovering.

Tonight is all about game 7

Tommorow I'm going to go do some volunteer work

Had a wash and wax job set up for this Saturday, but I had to move it to Sunday since the weather says 3-5 inches on snow tomorrow.

Well I spent all day yesterday washing, claying, polishing (menz power finish) and waxing (collinite 845) my Mustang. Didn't turn out perfect but a DRASTIC improvement! This weekend work on the wheels and glass and rewash.
Just curious, how long does it take you guys and gals to do a full 2 step correction and wax?

When I started reading this I was like dang!!! You did all that?!?! I started last weekend on my car and I'm not done yet-granted like I said, its been at my fiance's house all week untouched. I Washed it friday night, clayed saturday morning, taped and I began machine polishing. I haven't finished the polishing yet. Hopefully I will finish the whol projec this weekend. I was going to start a thread earlier this week asking how long it takes people to do this because I need to either adjust my techniques or change products.

Well I don't feel so bad then. I had originally hoped to follow the power finish with 85rd but I soon determined that would be a 2 day project and, as I was using someone else's garage, I didn't have that luxury. Good luck on finishing your's up.

I know right?! I was lucky to have a very understanding fiance! Not to mention my pops letting me use one of his cars for the week. My fiance wants me to finish up though. I'm hearing good things about 85RD. I may pick that up in the spring. Have a good weekend.
