Vapamore: Some questions.

1. Has anyone used either of the Vapamore steamers available on autogeek.net?

2. How efficient are they? Compaired to: chemical products? Regular Wet/Dry Vacs?

3. Where are they made? (Sorry, ya'll know me by now, I'd hope)

4. Are either of them worth the cash?

I'd really like to save up and purchase a good quality steamer; eventually. I don't want to spend around $600+(VX5000), but I don't want to cheap-out either. I also prefer USA made...

Thanks for any feedback on this product.
 
I think the vapomore steamer is made in china.
I ended up choosing the vx5000 over the vapamore and some other 3-500 dollars steamer. Make sure they have good customer service and you can buy extra brush from them.

Also, check if the length of the steam hose is long enough and if the water tank will hold enough water to last cleaning the whole interior.

Thanks for the info. I'm looking to spend >$300, so autogeek was the first place to look for me. The price tag on the vx500 is too up there for me, $600-700 last I checked (months ago). I'm not running a business, just doing hobby work.

Thanks for the info on what to look for though.
 
go for the vapomore, it should help you cut some interior cleaning time.
I use my steamer in the house too.

I'll probably go Vapamore when I get the cash. I'll write a review too, I'm way past due for one.
 
Any update on the Vapamore? I'm looking to get a steamer but the VX is just too expensive
 
A brief search says the unit is made in China and puts out steam at apx. 50psi. That should be plenty for interiors. (My VX 5000 shipped with pressure in that range but I bumped it up to about 80.) It has a six foot hose which is adequate. They advertise an hour worth of steam which should also be sufficient for most jobs. I recommend steam as a great tool for detailing. My advice would be to get the best you can or are willing to afford.

Sorry man, life got in the way. I still really want a steamer, but it is no longer on my priorities list.
