Love it, been waiting for something to push me over the edge on a premium wax, and it looks like this will do it. And as a Bio-Chem. major, I am totally diving into the R&D end of playing with the possibilities. RESEARCH TIME!

Ok, so I will be Devils advocate here. Why exactly would I want to make my own automotive wax when I have so many excellent options out there like, collinite, souveran etc? Are the professional waxes that deficient?

I reload my own rifle ammunition because I found great disparities in over all lenght of the cartridge and weight of the powder charge. By reloading, I can make sure every round is the same.

But why make your own wax? It just seems like a waste of time to me. Time you could be doing something constructive like detailing your favorite ride.

I welcome enlightenment on this.

Just for the heck of it...homebrewing wax's has taken a new breath in some circles, europe, and many want to try making it but finding the right blend of materials can be difficult. So for a somewhat inexpensive way you can mix your own nuba wax and have something pretty decent the first time around.

Adding Polycharger Wax Booster would probualy be a great idea. Anybody ever use it?

:props: CEE DOG - wish i was at SEMA, HOME BREW is partly responsible for our decision to go next year instead.

as for adding polycharger - this is completely up to you. much like the battery inside the iphone > it can be replaced with one that works but you will VOID the warranty. the kit as is will produce a good wax, but you are able to do what you want with it. 8)
 
How much is the retail price? just so I can get an idea
 
I think you will ruin it if you add polycharger. Maybe if one uses an old minipot from a fuzion or something and just puts in a little with CH2, then uses it within 48 hours.

At least you wouldn't waste the whole thing if the polycharger turned it into a rock...
