SEMA 2011 - New Products!

The Specialty Equipment Market Association, aka SEMA, is something that every automotive enthusiast or car care aficionado should attend at least once in their life time. Besides being the hot spot for cool cars and the central location where all the big names in the industry get together to discuss anything and everything automotive, SEMA is also the place to be if you want to see the latest and greatest products and services being introduced from some of the most well-known and respected names in the industry.

If the anticipation has been driving you nuts and you simply can't take it any longer, rest assured the man with the Nikon camera, Yancy, was first in line to capture all the newest products being introduced from Mothers and Meguiar's. Check them out below and be sure to stay tuned for updates as new products from other manufacturers are also being introduced.

Thanks for putting this thread together Nick! :props:

I hope your finding some time to have fun too...

Looks like somebody didn't feel like carrying around full gallons of Detailer product...

California Gold, Synwax and Reflections are not among the best in the very wide range of LSP's in the market but they are pretty good looking for OTC's. I wonder how Mother's Synthetic Wax would fair as an OTC product.

The Meg's stuff has been up on their forum for a week. Pretty hard to beat last years offerings

How long does it usually take SEMA stuff to hit the shelves??

The Meg's stuff usually Jan-Feb. The OPT MF polishing discs are available now, the cutting in a week or two, new versions of the spray polishes soon, and the GPS :dunno:

Meg's dynacone foam pad cleaner is great stuff glad its coming out on shelves. I bought the dynacone several months ago and makes crome pop never had the chance to try aluminum wheels yet. The dynacone came with a 4 ounce bottle of dynacone foam pad cleaner tried it on my LC HT pads and cleaned them well. I also want to try the brake dust barrier.

Here are a couple more from the show! :righton:

Eco Touch was part of Autogeek Alley and I spent some time talking to the company's founder, James Dudra, about their new-for-2012 products. First is their new odor eliminator. This product has a pleasant fragrance that's not overbearing and actually eliminates the odors instead of just temporarily masking them. The next product is simply named Wheel Cleaner. It is a eco-friendly wheel cleaner that contains no harsh chemicals and it's safe on all wheel finishes. Don't let the eco-friendly formula fool you, as the cleaner contains proprietary ingredients that break down brake dust and road grime.

Next up is the product that I'm looking forward to the most, Optimum GPS. GPS, or Glaze-Polish-Seal, is an AIO in the form of a spray. It can remove light imperfections, polish and seal in one step.

Muc-Off also unveiled several new products including a paste wax, odor eliminator and several kits.

SEMA 2011 was definitely a show to remember and it was great putting a face to people I talk to often, including CaneMustang (Jeff), PixelMonkey (Chris) and Pats300zx (Pat), just to name a few.

SEMA 2012 couldn't come soon enough! :righton:

Nick..you are the hardest working man I know...

Thanks for joining us at the show Pat, you were a big help and a cool guy to hang out with.

Wanna try the muck off stuff cause it looks so cool

Muc off seems geared towards women? Anyone else feel that way? From the writing to the pink everything. Seems like something that would catch a teenage girls eye.
The kit looks like it would contain make up or hair products, not detailing stuff!
