How long should I wait to wax after using Klasse AIO?

I recently purchased a new car (pearl white). I' going to use some Klasse AIO on it after I wash. Is there a waiting time before applying wax over the AIO? I plan on using Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax. Does the Aio need to cure? If so how long? I'm a newbie to using Klasse AIO. Any comments will be appreciated.
 
You can wax / seal immediately after KAIO. It is basically cured as soon as it is buffed off.
 
As Troy said, go ahead and apply your wax immediately after buffing off the KAIO. On a side note, while UQW is a good product (I use it myself), it's not really recommended as a stand-alone wax - you might want to get something more durable, and use your UQW to boost that periodically.
 
Try Collinite 845 over the KAIO on white...You will be amazed how easy it is to use, with the ultimate shine and how long it will last..It's the best I have found on a white vehicle..I know many here who will agree with me...
 
Just another option, you could apply Klasse SG over Klasse AIO. Klasse AIO provides a great base for Klasse SG to bond to.
 
I've been persuaded to top the Klasse AIO with Collinite 845 (just ordered). Is there a wait time between the AIO and the Collinite? Also how neccessary is the Klasse sealant? Does the Klasse AIO need it or will the Collinite 845 on top of the AIO be fine?

You won't regret topping Klasse AIO with Collinite 845 and it can be applied once you've buffed out the Klasse.

One key to success with Collinite 845 is applying it consistently thin. Nick wrote a nice thread on applying Collinite 845 so if you haven't already do a pre-read before you get started.

When I apply Collinite 845 I use my Porter Cable 7424 dual action polisher with a blue or red foam pad and speed 3. This allows me to ensure a complete and even coverage applying it thin enough to make buffing effortless.

Klasse High Gloss Sealant is some amazing stuff. When applied according to instructions it leaves a gorgeous wet shine with up to 12 months of protection. Even though it touts such durability I still add Collinite 845 after allowing the sealant to cure 12 hours or so as it adds depth and a bit more protection....:props:

Sir.I'm just new here.I read your very helpful information above.Can i ask a question ? If i don't have just enough time to put on the collanite 845 after the SG is cured and i have to use my SUV for an hour 0r 3 outside.What should i do when i come home.Should i wask it again to remove the dirt / dust dry it then apply the 845.Is what on my mind correct ? Please comment.Thank you.

I would say try to really set some time aside to do the entire job or at least not take it out in between steps. If you absolutely can't and you're out for a couple hours, just use a quick detailer when you get back to pull off all of the loose contaminants and continue with applying the 845.
 
I read Nicks article and it was fantastic. I do have one question. If I'm understanding Nick's method, he puts the wax on the entire car at once and let's it sit until each panel hazes up?

If you put the 845 on really thin with a random orbital like I do, I apply it to the whole car, then go by hand where the buffer won't reach, THEN buff off the haze with zero issues.

I, like you, read about the 845 for WEEKS. Not to worry KB. I hand apply this (very thin) over my entire truck and then go have a beer or two while it hazes. It wipes off effortlessly. Any comments you read about it being hard to remove must have been from those who applied WAY too much.

I have applied this to my Ram truck 4 times, and my wife's Jeep wrangler 3 times. The bottle is only down to where it says "heavy duty paste" right below the "845" if you look at the bottle.
 
BTW, I applied Klasse AIO last October for the first time and topped it with 845. I am WAY too busy in the spring with work to do a full detail. This combo is STILL beading water like crazy until I can get to my next full detail in June. :D

Great info sir. Appreciate it. So the key when working with 845 is to use it very lightly. I have a Porter Cable DA and figured those 4 little spots of 845 with a red soft pad. Setting 3 and move onto next section. 👍

I just got Klause AIO today and a bunch of 845. Looking forward to applying both.
