I'm the same way. I've been playing a lot of Battlefield 3. My gamer tag on Xbox is shoeless89 if anyone wants to add me!

)Well at first I was excited b/c it felt and looked just like MW2 which I LOVED. But as I played I started having issues. One the maps are entirely too crowded with crap. Yes this cuts down on annoying campers, but it also makes game play less fun IMO. I'm all for a few tight maps, like Rust from MW2, but there also needs to be some maps with open space.
Second everything is the same damn color scheme. I have perfect vision, and even I have trouble seeing people who are sitting in a corner in a shadow or standing on an overhead bridge. Unless they move it's almost impossible to see, and that gets annoying really fast.
Finally, it seems to penalize you if you have a fast connection. I had my PS3 hardwired to my router and every time it would slow down what I was doing in the game. I would see 5 shots go into a guy, then he would kill me with 2. When watching it on the killcam I would only see myself shoot once or twice. When I played wirelessly this problem pretty much went away, but the glitching started.
I think thats about it...lol

I had this game about a week before it came out but barely played it because there was limited server availability. Buddy's gf's mom is the store manager at walmart. hookups ftw! So if anyone wants to play, add me, localxlegend

I'm down for a Thursday lobby. I was on last night for about an hour or so. Its ok...definitely not living up to the hype I was hearing about. This installment reminds me ALOT of World At War. The maps are HUGE...and as Dave said, people blend into the surroundings. COD is not fun anymore...all people do is camp. My dumb arse would keep going back to try to kill this one guy hiding in this room and he'd get me every time...yes...that was definitely my fault. Maybe I'm not so much a gamer I once was with MW and MW2.

The First point I agree whole heartedly, but I've been playing so much that I have the "camp" spots memorized. Now I use explosives almost exclusively on campers, and my K
is recovering.
Now that French level pisses me off because of all the over-crowdedness. Counter-camping there seems to get me "blowed-up" quite often.
Not sure what to think of the color scheme. I guess it doesn't bother me. Of course, the first month I played the game was on my dead lcd tv (black levels were horrid, contrast was all effed up, and the blacks eventually turned red!). I can't really complain about that with my new TV.
Perhaps the servers are different between the ps3 and xbox 360?!?
I only get panelized when my connection drops a bit (I'm hardwired too).

I really only have a few complaints thus far:
1. The game makes boosting too easy for those that boost.
2. The game makes it easier for campers (especially snipers) to camp, and survive some explosives. (Perhaps the easier camping is something you address in your second point.
3. COD still has address the problem that M203 rounds disappear if you are killed before they peak their tangent.
4. The French level. Period.
5. Connection "sync" issues. (I'll have about a 1/2 lag behind those with excellent connection.
6. The addition of Ricochet on HC. If my teammates are dumb enough to cross in my line of fire, let it count as their loss, not mine.:nomore:

Oh heck yeah...I told you the other night when we were playing...I'll creep up behind a camper and put a claymore down. When they turn around or back up they explode. I get a kick out of it every time...it never fails.

Agreed. I played it Saturday night on my brothers name and I don't like it as much as I used to. COD MW was an amazing game and I played til the sun came back up. Now I cant do that lol :xyxthumbs:
I got really good at the throwing knives too. People hate and when I say hate I mean HATE! getting killed with the throwing knife

this dude hit me with a throwing knife last night and I got PPPPPPIIIIIIISSSSEEEEDDDD I tried to do something worse and chase after him with a riot shield.

Lol :xyxthumbs: I used to love MW2. I would do Tactical Knife on one of the revolvers and I'd have Marathon and the faster sprint as my perks. People used to flippppppp when I was like 15-0 like F that dude hes cheating...
