Flex 3401 vs PC7424XP

We've been using the Flex 3401 because it offers more power to enable you to remove defects out of the paint faster than a PC style tool with the risk of instilling swirls into the paint or burning through the paint as is possible without careful use of a rotary buffer.
Can I please get a clarification on this statement.
Does the 3401 OP have a better, worse or same chance of leaving swirls / burning paint than a rotary buffer?

Mike meant to say, "without the risk"
The 3401 has a much lower chance of leaving swirls or burning the paint than a rotary.

Just wondering how a cyclo compares in time savings to a 3401? Flex came yesterday and i'm curious to know if i will have a place for my cyclo after i get used leto the flex.
