Of course I'm documenting all this with my trusty, dusty Canon Rebel but here's a quick update... this car has SINGLE STAGE PAINT!
Since it's not white, that means it's actually very soft. So we have to be very careful around raised body lines and edges but it also means that the swirls and scratches are buffing out so easy...
Most of the guys working on this project except for myself and Adam have never buffed out an entire car that has single stage paint so this is a real treat for them as cars like this with single stage paint are becoming so RARE!
The paint is coming out so GLOSSY just by machine polishing that I think we're all going to be blown away after we apply the Dodo Juice Orange Crush Soft Wax
Stay tuned... we've already started the last machine polishing step and Adam is polishing all the stainless steel and chrome...
Thank you to everyone that welcomed Kristin to our forum... time to shut down the Autogeek Studio for the night but I'll post the process and after picture tomorrow... until then here's some shots of Kristin wiping off some smudges, inspecting our work and showcasing the Dodo Juice Orange Crush Wax.
I introduce to you our newest Swirl Girl... Kristin!
Kristin inspects our work and finds a few wax smudges here and there and gently removes them using a clean microfiber towel while wearing microfiber gloves...
Here's Kristin inspecting our work using the Brinkmann Swirl Finder Light...
PJ is such a hard worker and always ready to lend a helping hand...

Once again, another fun evening at AG. Good meeting Kristem, Kyle & PJ (alphabetical order - so nobody is offended-heehee). Adam & Mike, always a pleasure working & learning from you.
This was truly an extreme maker over. This car looked good from far, but far from good. But once done - Wow! Totally different vehicle!
