**Random photos of anything... (that YOU have taken)**

Well, you said anything.....Some are sicker than others. This is at the Dunkin Donuts in Rhode Island. Jack wanted to carve her name in the picnic bench but I told her she better handle leaving her mark in a less intrusive manner. Jack and I prefer......

On a serious note, I'm sure I'll be posting to this thread frequently. Thanks for starting it.

Im pretty sure when I was recently in San Diego I was here. Its so nice in San Diego. One of my favorite cities ever :xyxthumbs:

Pt Loma just around from the lighthouse? Used to surf there daily as a kid all along Sunset Cliffs, had a sabot we would sail thru the bay and anchor off the point since it's a military installation, got quite a few verbal spankings over the years from the rangers there. It is beautiful and I miss living there, great place to grow up in the late 60's and 70's.

BTW you guys photo skills put my point and shoot prowess to shame!

Bokeh is when the subject is in focus while the background is blurred.

Lower the aperture the more light the lens will let in. So a lower aperture (fast lens) will work better in low light situation. And will produce very nice bokeh.

Well here are two shots from our trip to Key West for Lobsterfest in August. I will try to get some more up when I get the chance.

BTW, love the post.

Both take with D300 and 80-200 2.8, processed in PS5

^ that a nice camera set up you have. :props: Is it FF?

I'm thinking about selling my T2i and upgrading to 7D soon. I also want to get 24-70L but that cost too much $$$$$$$$$$$$$.

You said random, so here's a few. All of these are pretty old. Taken with an old Olympus 4MP P&S (you're impressed I know).

*I don't know what little critter done this, but it was way cool. It had been raining a lot and I just happened to spot this out behind the house. It's hard to tell in that one pic (I have several) but the leaf is acting as a shed roof over the hole of this mound. It is also dug in around the bottom tip of the leaf. Pretty cool. Also note the bokeh (everyone else said it, I wanted too :D). Seriously though, that's as good of a picture as you could squeeze out of that camera.
