Anyone else going to lowes on black friday?

Came in about 7:30 from Lowes. Picked up two of the 6' ladders for $19.99, two Chamberlain door openers for the basement for $198 and a few other odds and ends for around the house.

Nice haul! Was the place super crowded? I guess I should get over there if I'm going. If there's any hint of madness in the parking lot, I'm gonna keep rollin
 
Yep - got there at 5:04AM. Picked up the KH 2 gallon air compressor, Werner Platform (x2), a couple of the 600W Halogen lights and the tiny Pressure Washer (gift). $142 in "savings". ;)

No crowding at all at the one I go to. As a matter of fact we didn't get there til about 6:30 or so. My son and I went to Sears and was at the door at 4 along with all of the other crowd. After Sears we went to Home Desparate and picked up a few things. Swung by the house, dumped the stuff bought earlier and went to Lowes to finish up. Everything we bought was for ourselves. No gifts at all.
 
More than normal but it was in Hutto, TX (pop 7000). By normal city standard, it was empty.

There are some here that would call you selfish. I call you smart.

How can someone else buy for you what you need? Never understood that whole concept. I think everyone should buy their own gifts and show them to each other at Christmas

I guess I'll go do a drive by and see whats up
 
Just got home with my work platform. I have been looking at these for nearly a year and this sale was what I needed to pull the trigger.

They had sold out of the ladders 10 mins. after opening but they had 5 work platforms left at 8 am when I got there. No crowd at all, walked right up to the register, paid and I was on my way in under 10 min.!

Stanley something or other. It was in the tool section. Regular tool box on top, storage down below. Perfect for spray bottles.

I just got mine. In-n-Out in 8 minutes

The store I went to had a section over by the paint where they had palletts of shop vacs and platforms. The lady at checkout said they're still 48 platforms in stock
 
lots and lots of the wet vac systems at the local Coral Springs Lowes. Got there around 10am and they had plenty. Seems the 100.00 Dewalt Drill was also selling quickly but many more available.

I didn't see the picture on my phone. I as using the AG app. I may go and pick that tool cart up.

Yeah mine had a bunch of them back near the ply wood and insulation. I went to the regular ladder isle and they had 1 left.
 
Yeah there were a ton of shop vacs. There were only 5 or so platforms by the time I left.

Youl know it when u see it. Its plastic, black, about 3ft tall, on wheels, regular tool box on top and storage down below with a sliding door. Stanley brand

I already just about broke my neck on this thing. Don't forget to lock the hatch :o

I'm thinking of modifing mine already with some sandpaper strips. The one's like my crazy aunt had in her bath tub :)

LMMFAO!!! Flash man please be careful! Yes...lock the hatch. I'm sittin here ROLLIN at the sandpaper that your "crazy aunt had..." I remember those strips.
