Could seem to find any threads about this on AG and therefore I shall ask. It seems to me that almost every car around me has mold/mildew on the rubber trims that go around the front and back glass and the rubber trims around the the vehicle in general and I have seen that it doesnt seem to come off with normal washing. Any solutions out there to this problem?

Most of the ones I've come across, the damage is done. A thorough cleaning and some rubber/vinyl dressing will make them look better, but not perfect.

Thats what I figured but I dont know where I read that some people have treated the moldings with some bathroom mold and mildew cleaner and had gotten rid of it but I'm not about to do that if there is a "smarter" way of dealing with it.

Spray Nine will help remove it. It also kills the mold/mildew. Works rether well and is also a great APC.

Hydrogen Peroxide is great stuff for mold and its safer than the sodium hypochlorite found in most bathroom cleaners.

Saw this at Home Depot the other day. Thanks!

Interesting! I have some at home and today I have my G/f's fathers car as a guinea pig to try it on when I get home :xyxthumbs:
