I am cluless on what to get my father this year for Chritsmas. I am getting my Father-in-law the Griots Starter Kit, but my dad will wash his truck maybe 3 times a year, so no need in wasting the money on detailing supplies. Any ideas?

He does carry the dog around in the back, so I may get him a new rear dog seat cover, but what else can I get him?

Would he be willing to take better care of his car if you gave him like an introductory detailing kit?

No, I have tried. He even has a black vehicle of all colors. As long as the truck drives him back and forth to work, that is all he cares about. :bash:

Hmm.. Is he into electronics or cool gadgets?

Maybe a remote start for his car?

The only problem with electronics is he would ask me 500 times how to work it.

I can't tell you how many times I had to show him how to upload pictures on a forum :Picture:

I buy my dad knives and guns for Christmas. Been oding it for the past 10 years or so, and he is always happy. Not sure if that helps...lol

Oh! I know!

Outfit his entire car with weathertech floor liners.

Sadly enough they don't have the form fit ones for our trucks (Early model Frontier Crew Cab) I was stick with the Huskys.

I am thinking of maybe a foam mattress topper, as he is always complaing about how hard their bed is, and his #1 hobby is taking naps :)

If he has no needs, donate money to the Humane Society in his name, and they will acknowledge your gift with a nice card

Sounds like he likes his doggie :)

A 6 pak of boxers will work too!

That actually is a great idea. We usually buy bags of food and take them by.

And yes he loves his fat doggie :hungry:

I ought to do this one just for the hell of it :props:

He'll know to make me a list next time.

I just got mine not too long ago...and some sweet shoes with skulls and cross bones on em.

Get him a nice watch.

Shoes, Pajamas, Cigars, Cigar Accessories, Motorcycle accessories if he rides a motorcycle, Guns and ammunition, Blue Ray movies, Video Games if he likes that stuff, Tools, Gift Certificate to his favorite restaurant. Just some ideas that I have when I shop for my dad. I went in with my mom on a Snowblower for him for Christmas because last years snow was ridiculous.

If you donate money directly, they can purchase more food with their buying power :hungry:

Another option is this ASPCA | Donate

Donating to either will also earn you a year end tax deduction. My signature provides you with a third option ;)
