Kinda sounds like a Zaino type product. The thing that got me was there'Compound' Not really a compound if you ask me..

There's a mobile detailer around southern LA that only uses there products. But i did have to correct a correction job that he did on a DB9 a few months back so not sure if it was product or just improper technique

I had a guy recommend Glare Pro Polish when I was having issues with soft black paint. He mentioned it isn't a staple but he's found it useful, usually when nothing else is working for him.

I don't know if I subscribe to the snake-oil claims on the Glare Web site but I've found it has it's uses as well. I didn't think much of it as a polish or protection, I probably didn't give it a real fair shake because I found another solution for the issues I was experiencing.

I've found it to be an excellent chrome polish! About the same longevity on hot motorcycle pipes as wax or sealent... nil. So the chrome that doesn't get hot gets Glare and the pipes get Opti Coat.

FWIW, Glare is relabeled in various forms. I picked up Honda Pro Polish from eBay, I've heard of it at BMW dealers as well. Same stuff, different labeling.

Some of the Corvette guys used it for a while, but did not stand out like Pinnacle, Blackfire and other brands. Most have changed and moved to Rejex.

I read some reviews from some of those guys and I don't think half of them had ever heard of products you just named off by the way they were talking.
