2004 Chevy SSR - Extreme Makeover by Blackfire - Modeled by Tasha

Hey everyone! Thanks for welcoming me to the 'Swirl Girls!' Max runs a top notch operation at Autogeek and I had a blast working with Mike and the rest of the guys on the 2004 Chevy SSR project. Can't wait to see the rest of the pictures! :-)

Welcome to Autogeek Tasha! :welcome:

I'd first like to thank Max for having such a great operation and for allowing events like this to take place. Also I'd like to thank all the guys for your hard work on the car, I forgot to tell you all last night that I name my cars and the SSR is called Elvira, so thank you very much for making Elvira shine!! and for all the teaching tips.
Looking forward to seeing all of you again! Last but not least our great host Mike...you're the best!:dblthumb2:

Welcome to Autogeek Sharif! Elvira's lookin' good now! :dblthumb2:

Great job everyone, that paint looks better then showroom new!

Great Job been waiting on seeing some results from the blackfire compound and polish great might want to pick some up in the future

I must say this makeover I feel was one of the hardest too do .The clear coat was one of the hardest clear coats I've worked on . Sharif was actually thinking about selling the SSR but he sure changed his mind when we were all done . Not sure if it was mentioned but this is his Daily Driver also .

The SSR looks awesome.

That looks like a lot of fun. If Autogeek wasn't so far from where I live, I'd definitely volunteer some polishing time.

Tasha, welcome.

You added some oomfa to those pics.
(I like your nail polish)

I wonder if Mike is going to issue a calendar for 2012 with each car and the model for each month.

Problem is I only have 6 Swirl Girls... I need 6 more...

The above are all autographed by the Swirl Girls that used them to inspect the paint, these will be up for auction at Detail Fest...

I have 4 more girls on-call for future projects...

Haha,
Mike Phillips is AG's - Stud Boy!:cheers::goodjob2:

Awesome turn around with help from many.

Very cool of Tasha to model after all the hard work got the SSR looking right.

Looks like the SSR turned out great under Mikes guidance as expected.Nothing shines like black when corrected properly.
One item I did notice was that when I attended a class with Mike we didn't have any Swirl Girl models around. Totally unfair that now georgous girls like Tasha are involved.I see right now that I'll have to head south and take in a class. Don't run off all the pretty girls before I get there Mike. LOL. :buffing:

Great team you got there!!! Where do you find all these pretty girls to model for you guys? :props:

Welcome Tasha!

I almost feel bad for being honest, but those swirl girls keep getting better and better. Welcome Tasha!

BTW, the car looks wonderful too!

While it looks like a lot of hard work buffing out all these cool cars each week what you don't see is some of the behind the scenes goofing off we do after all the hard work is over.

For example, here's Kyle proposing to Tasha only instead of a ring he's offering her Blackfire...

Then he helps frame-up a shot...

Tasha just bought these Zebra heels and was happy to wear them for the first time for our project car....

Welcome to AG! I'm sure you're excited to be part of the AG crew! I'm sure you'll love it here and I'm sure you'll have a blast working with the AG people. Welcome and feel free to not be shy! We don't bite...well most of us don't anyway.

Wow amazing job guys!!! The defects were removed properly and the paint now has a show car finish!!! I think I can also see a difference when the Blackfire midnight sun was applied. The truck looks really wet. Great job guys! How is midnight sun especially when compared to Fuzion guys?

:welcome: to the AGO family Tasha!!! I'm sure you'll enjoy your time hanging out with the detailers in the AG extreme makeover team and modelling for the cars!

:welcome: Tasha! It looks like you guys had lots of fun. Tasha, did you get to polish the car too?
