Post your Everyday Carry

Nice Jim! Can't imagine what it's like the fire that last hand cannon...lol

Wow, you guys are really packing heat.

Do you guys have concealed permits or whatever its called?

Yes sir. Police generally appreciate that people carrying guns are also following the law, seems to put everyone at ease. And if you don't have a permit but have considered, there is no better time to get one as I doubt the requirements will ever get easier.

The Smith and Wesson 500 is like a kitten, especially at that size. If your wife has the arm strength to aim the gun without shaking, the recoil most likely won't bother her. She will just be scared until it goes off the first time and she realizes that it is not that bad.

If you want a cannon that rocks, try Smiths 44 magnum ultra light, about 26 oz. As a reference a 8 3/8" Smith 500 is listed at 73 oz I believe.

Here are my special occasion totes. This is right after I finished building them up. The AR is now scoped with a 6x24x50mm mil dot reticle. I'll see if I can get an updated pic (with the scope) up later...

Sweet Buddy! WOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Great pictures so far guys. Looks like a lot of you like your guns. I feel so inferior with my little leatherman.

Lol as do I, but hey after four years I'll be able to own one of those babies legally.

Yes.

Holy s**t guys! This kind of stuff you guys carry there would get you in trouble pretty fast in Brazil.... here we aren't allowed to carry any fire weapon on the streets.... and it's better that way... crime is so high that criminals would have a lot of weapons to play with =]
Have you ever thought that crime could be so high because everyone is an easy target for the criminals? Do the criminals have guns, even though it is illegal? Well, then they ALWAYS have the upper hand over any true law abiding citizen, and they know it.

A little light reading: Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Look at the crime rates, etc.) Switzerland is one of the safest countries in the world as far as crime goes, yet they are arguably one of the most heavily armed. How does that work?

If the citizens of Brazil were properly trained and practiced with armament, then they would take the fight to the criminals.

Here's another "case study" from my state:
Gun Ownership - It's The Law In Kennesaw

And If I am hangin with Dirty Harry and wanna make his 44 Mag look like a pea shooter:

LOL @ the second picture posted of a gun in front of a laptop with the screen on L2D chat!

Wish i could carry like that.... NYs gun laws are crap!

For those 45 and 40 shooters, I recommend the Winchester Ranger (formerly Black Talon) and Federal HST ammunition. This stuff expands perfectly every time, even with peripheral hits. Personally, I always apply a coat of 845 to each round to gain 50 fps and improve feeding...

A well placed hit with a 22 is better than a miss with a 44 mag. PRACTICE!

I was kidding about the 845. Everybody knows I use Fuzion because it looks great on copper.:props:

Here in Mordor we are not allowed by Sauron to carry concealed weapon.

I don't carry these, but owning them is pretty cool. They are 2 World War II German officer pistols.

As you can see, both have the original leather holster as well as 2 magazines each and are numbers matching with swastika's engraved on them. Pretty eery piece of history.

Guess I'm kinda old school (owned this one for many years)...
