Hi All,

I'm looking for a company that I can use to add the gift certificate option to my website.

I've looked at Boomtime and a couple others that came up on google.

I am just curious to see what others in the industry are using and what kind of percentage of sale they are charging you.

Appreciate the help!

I was thinking of doing something like that as well.

Why do you have to go through a third party? I was just thinking of using pay pal. Once payment is received, i would email a gift cert. with a code (series of number). Make a spreadsheet with the coupon code and customer name and info so that the coupon can not be duplicated. Heck you can even make the code an algorithm to match the customers name.

I've considered doing the same, but haven't gotten past the "maybe I should offer gift certificates" stage.

I've considered this but doesn't Paypal take a percentage of the sale as well?

Why not make your own? The other day I went down to kinkos and printed off a few I made myself.

6 sold already

I numbered the back and ask for the name of the person they plan on giving it to. So when they redeem them I match their name to the number.

Total cost 11bucks

Yes they do, i forgot 3% i believe. But then again you might be able to pick up potential customers that you might not have. But I guess that would pays for the convince of of E-commerce.

Im in for more answers as well.

looks good Dugdug. How are you advertising yours?

I put them on my website and facebook. But recently I had a living social deal and have been getting a lot of calls for gift certificates so I decided to make one.
