Show Your Dog(s)

I am not sure if this has already been done, but on most of my other forums, there is always a dog thread. So show us your pups.

Most of the good pictures are on my wife's laptop, but here we go:

These are of my baby, 2 Year old Golden named Kota (My wife got her for me on xmas 2 years ago) -

The white one is a 5 Year old Bichon Frise named Jazz. He is my wife's dog, and my sleeping buddy -

Let me see your best buds! :dblthumb2:

Nice thread NoleFan!!! Nice golden retriever too! That's one of the dogs I'd like to have.

This is an older picture of our little Maltese. Her name is Cissy Boo. Probably about 5 years old in this pic.

Now 10 years old, here she is in the seat of my corvette a few weeks ago, needing a bath and looking a little pitiful.

That's a cute dog!!!

My husky. Her name is Shelby. I feed her Evo. She is almost two now.

Plenty of vacuuming after she goes for a ride.

Very nice dog DSGMach1!! Are huskys very hard to take care of?

Dave - What in the world is Jack digging after in the snow? He sure was on a mission!

Marc - Thanks, I don't ever plan to own another breed now, although I would like at least 1 of every breed :)

Meghan - What is his name? And he sure is showing that crane who is boss!

This is Honey. I've had her for 9 1/2 years. I got her from someone I worked with who couldn't keep her.

She was diagnosed with liver cancer in September and has been going to weekly chemo treatments and seems to be doing great.

Matt - He is loving that cold floor :D

What is his name?

She can be a handful at times lol. The big things with huskys is that they have tons of energy. They need to be taken out and ran around or they will find something to entertain them, a.k.a. they start chewing on rugs, pillows, or anything they can find. When Shelby gets bored at home and nobody is there she likes to pick socks and underwear out of the dirty laundry to chew up.

The other thing is when they shed it becomes a chore to brush her at least a few times a week. Check out some of the videos on youtube of people brushing their huskys. You can expect this a few times a week....

Its all worth it though for me. She has always been great with my two year old niece, even when Shelby was a puppy. She is great with my girlfriends two cats. She also thinks that every dog wants to play with her, which is good and bad lol. The Chow mix at the vet didn't seem too enthused with her playfulness. She could never be a guard dog because she thinks everyone is a friend.

Definitely needs to be kept on a leash b/c as I found out if she see's a cat or something she is going after it. Just do some research. There is lots of information about them on the internet.

A few more pics of my girl and a video of her barking at her reflection lol.

This was her favorite spot as a puppy

DSGMach1 - Her colors are just Beautiful. I have always wanted one with "1" blue eye. I have always read and heard that they are super hyper, which is one of the reasons we decided against that breed. And please tell me you own a furminator, they are great! Judging from the window picture, she is a big girl too!

Hey, erock, fantastic. What are you, a film director or something?
AND, the Hendrix little wing instrumental, it went so well with the vid. The man was a true guitar genius, such emotion in that music, what album is it from? Cute little dog. I've got two Dobermans.

Thanks glad you liked. Its actually Stevie Ray Vaughans version of the Jimi Hendrix original. Its off "The Sky Is Crying" and his greatest hits album too. The program i used was Apples IMOVIE program. :props:

This is Miles, we adopted him about 3 years ago. He was about 10 pounds and was real skinny. They said he was a stray and was likely abused.

2 years later, now 18 pounds. He is a great dog and is very smart. We weren't really looking for a dog, but always wanted one. I'm glad we found him at the rescue group in the flea market.

I love Maltese. My parents breed them. We currently have 9 we keep and 3 we have for sale right now totaling 12 in the house currently. I'm going to try and get pictures of all of them tonight to post here.

12 dogs?!?! Does your parents show dogs? They must have their hands full.

We have another dog, it a Maltese/Pomeranian mix. Her name is Lizzy and she about two years old.
