Show Your Dog(s)

DSGMach1 - Her colors are just Beautiful. I have always wanted one with "1" blue eye. I have always read and heard that they are super hyper, which is one of the reasons we decided against that breed. And please tell me you own a furminator, they are great! Judging from the window picture, she is a big girl too!

Just saw that you were the one with the golden retriever on the first page. I grew up with a golden. Still miss her to this day. They are great dogs.

Shelby has her moments where she can go straight bananas and start turning circles and running around the room at 100 mph, but if I have time to take her out in the yard and run her down she's ok. Just a whole lot of puppy energy in her. By the way huskys can be very stubborn. If Shelby wants to play outside instead of coming in then the chase is on lol. Then when I do catch her she just lays down and becomes dead weight. It's kind of funny.....unless you are trying to get back to work from lunch:nomore:.

Honestly though she isn't terribly much more hyper than my golden retriever would get from what I can remember. All a matter of getting through the puppy stage. In all seriousness though, if I knew I wouldn't have the time to regularly play with her to get her energy out I would have gotten another golden retriever.

I absolutely have a furminator. Don't know what I would do with out it. Totally worth the price.

12 dogs?!?! Does your parents show dogs? They must have their hands full.

We have another dog, it a Maltese/Pomeranian mix. Her name is Lizzy and she about two years old.

Thats a great mix. She's so cute. I've always wanted to mix a Yorkie and a Maltese to make a Morkie but my parents want to keep it a pure breed

My parents actually breed them as a side business but we become so attached to them as kids we wind up keeping one every now and then.

I love Maltese. My parents breed them. We currently have 9 we keep and 3 we have for sale right now totaling 12 in the house currently. I'm going to try and get pictures of all of them tonight to post here.

Thanks! I bought his brother for my parents and then my sister went back and got another pup a year later from the same breeder....so we have 3 of them in our family, all with their own unique personality! Great dogs! :)

Where you located? We got ours from a breeder in Iowa. Taking care of 12 at once would be a LOT of work! ;)

Yes! The personalities of these dogs are great. They can be very playful at times and come cuddle up with you on the couch or in bed. They also like to act like attack dogs. Whenever I bring a friend over if we open the gate to come in the back yard we have 2 that are ankle biters and the rest just bark like crazy lol.

Yes taking care of 12 at one time is a crazy job. My dad is retired and he loves to take care of them. Once they hit 5 weeks they are very very hard to take care of and become little yapper's at 5:30 in the morning lol

I'm located in Long Island. To any locals your more then welcome to PM me we have 3 that will be ready to sell after the holidays :xyxthumbs:

I couldn't do that, as I would keep ALL of them :D

My parent's Great Dane and Dachshund (video, click to watch)

This is my 3 year old puppy Clyde. In the year and 8 months I have owned him he has gained about 20lbs, and no sense.LOL JK His dad is full Boxer, and his mom is part Mastiff(English I think), Rhodesian Ridgeback, and Lab. He is my best detailing buddy, and house alarm.:)
Believe it or not, he actually tried coming in the house with the stick in his mouth in the pics, and did manage to rip siding off the corner of the house with it. Dogs and kids, you gotta love 'em, but you can't beat 'em in public.:Djk

I recently got these shots of a friend's dog and thought she'd fit in this thread perfectly. Isn't she just adorable??!!

This is Baby, she's a 5 year old Chug.

And just to show how tiny she is I got this one beside her daddy.

Nothing like the loyalty of a dog. He is my pup. He has destroyed his last two bed
