First off, I knew this title would get people to read this. NEVER again will I set foot in an auto parts store or department store to buy wax, not even supposedly good wax. I would like to thank Mike and others who helped me find the motivation to proceed with using the Wolfgang products I purchased on our two cars, even though I was worried I would not have the time to complete them. The time that it took to use the Paintwork enhancer on both followed by the Deep Gloss Sealant 3.0 was by far less time than what it would have taken to use a cleaner wax. The end result was absolutely amazing with both cars. My wifes 2006 Carbon Bronze Pearl EXL Accord looks bettter than it did the day we brought it home new (granted the car only has 15k on the odo) and has been well cared for. And my 2011 Spark Silver Subaru Forester looks better than it ever has with some depth to the finish.
The main thing that amazed me about these products were the ease with which you can apply and remove them and the small amount of material that you actually use. Given these two things and the end result I will never again use anything but top of the line car care products. Thanks guys, and Merry Christmas. JIm:dblthumb2:

The only product lines I have found are worth buying OTC are Meguiar's (only specific consumer items and Mirror Glaze items where you can find them, although sometimes it is cheaper to just order those MG items online), Duragloss (can be found at Federated Auto Parts), and Surf City Garage (Pep Boys has several of their products where I live).

The Meguiars NXT Tech wax is what I have used since it came out and it has kept my vehicles in good shape. It is not a really bad product but for the price, the ease of application and removal , the time, and amount used, in my opinion there is absolutely no comparrison.

Looks good. A nice clean garage too. Mine is packed with stuff....neatly tho ;-)

Yeah right! My garage is thirty two feet deep. Notice I am standing right in front of my Forester when I took the picture. Reason= about 12-14 feet of stuff in front of cars conveniently out of sight of the camera. I built this garage 25 years ago to have a place to tinker and work on my cars. Two daughters and all of their stuff I am lucky to be able to get my car in it. Oh well maybe some day.

Drove the Honda to dinner last Thursday evening and it was pouring down rain. The restaraunt we frequent is being remodeled on the outside and the parking lot had mud all over it. When my wife got in the car she commented how strange the water looked on the sides fo the car, kind of like it was falling off in sheets. Friday morning I went out into the garage and put the door up to go wash the car expecting the worst. I walked around the car and could not find a water spot on any flat surface, the only hint of dirt was a slight couating on the top of the rear bumper and behind the rear wheels. This stuff is truely amazing, I will never use anything else.

Wow,never is a long time. Its been my experience that although we may no longer buy wax or polish,if you browse through the car care section you can find some bargain markdowns.Since they mostly stock items that the average person who is only going to buy wax and call it a day, would purchase, you can find good deals on higher priced items, that didn't sell.Btw I also use Wolfgang and its great!

Yes Wolfgang and Pinnacle both are truly amazing waxes.
Your car does look really good though. A lot of waxes AG sells are really good

I would add the Mothers line to your list - I use a number of their products, and they've all worked pretty well.

Meguiar's consumer line offers some nice over the counter products. Mothers on the other hand is probably a step above Meguiar's consumer line and are available at most auto parts stores, Targets, Wal-Mart etc....
