first imperfection!!! what can i do?

my new garage is not long but my car is. i have a ping pong table upright at the end of it and surprisingly the rollers on the table are high enough to barely touch the bottom of my front bumper. i hit it so lightly and it put a 1" indentation about 1mm thick at the base of the bumper...almost the underside, but not quite. it is probably invisible to everyone that will ever look at my car, but it bugs the hell out of me!! had the car only 2 months!!

i have a clear bra on the front of the car, so even though my initial thought was a heat gun and a little pressure on the area, i thought otherwise so as to not melt the plastic film. i have the xpel self-healing stuff so i think it is actually supposed to take to heat pretty kindly.

anyway it is slight so i should probably not worry with it, but if there is any heat gun techniques that are worth a shot i may give it a try. it pains me that my car is no longer perfect. thank you!
 
It's a beauty mark.

I had a step ladder in the garage fall on mine. Believe it or not, it only left a tiny scratch in the back bumper, pretty much just enough to dab a little touch up paint on it. The car was less than a week old.
 
I'd try the heat gun to warm up the area, then take a can of compressed air and turn it upside down and spray the area until it turn good and white. The freezes the area. Set back and watch the magic. POP! the dent is gone! You can find videos on YouTube of people doing this and it seems to work. Haven't tried it yet because I haven't had a car to test it out on. But it's worth a try...
 
is it really "worth a try?" i have countless times tried to fix car imperfections which has resulted in making matters worse, so i'd like to know it works first.

it's only 1mm deep at the most, so not sure how much popping out can be done. i thought a heat gun and a gentle massage behind the area might make it a little more flush with the rest of the bumper.
 
try using your hand first, if that fails use a heatgun to heat it up just a tad and push it out again. good luck with it

Please be careful to not heat the XPel clear-bra to the extent of releasing the adhesive-backing-layer, of the three-layer film-build, that is the clear-bra PPF's total composition.

As far as pressure is concerned, if I'm understanding the indentation explanation: You may be able to "push" the underlying area out some; then, I'd follow XPel's recommendatioins in allowing the "healing process" take place.

Just a couple of well intended suggestion...
