I called Griots today about something else. I asked if they had any samples of this wax. Much to my disappointment, they do not. Will just have to order some.
Premium Carnauba Paste Wax – I’d say many of the characteristics of this wax on how it looks on the car compare to the Carnauba Wax Stick. It does have an extra month or so of durability, but the hydrophobic technology is what really sets it apart. The tighter water-beading and reduced surface tension is very impressive. This will probably replace Carnauba Wax Stick as the primary wax on my car.
So, if you’re looking specifically for a concours wax, I’d probably still lean toward Best of Show Wax since it has excellent color, depth, and clarity; depth being key. But, every car is different, so trying different options and seeing what works on your will always produce the best results.

assuming you get 28 applcations out of a can, Even if you apply as often as 4 app per year, this can lasts 7 years. Twice a year, 14 years. Pretty good $ per year value.
I hear you on that one. When I was reading the catalog that brought back nightmares from the best of show wax for me. I threw away a nearly full bottle of that and then a couple years later someone tried to give me another for free and I ran screaming.
But they don't say it will do that just under specific conditions. They say if you leave it on too long you will have to reapply to be able to remove it, period.
For me at least, there are too many brainless waxes out there that I don't have to live in fear of miscalculating the drying time.
For them to list that right in the description is both good on their part that they are upfront but it also still brings back the night sweats that best of show left me with.

Wow, maybe i need to try some of this too! Did you apply by hand or DA? Also, how many coats?

Hello I have tried it an it is wowo product one panel at a time its more in the league of autoglym hd wax in relationship of a hybred real good beading. nice wide mouth can. good price.I really don't have any duribility reports.But it was easy on.apply like soverain .I applied it by hand.

Is the tin really wide enough to put a 6" pad into? I assume this is a hard wax like the caranuba stick?

I have that wax and I love the sweet, fruity scent.
I dont know the English name of that fruit but it is this one:
The jar opening is close to 5 inch wide.
The wax is bright, wet, glossy wax that seems to be good for metallics from what I see.

When wasing the dirt slides right off.the inner diameter of the can is 4.75" my opinion is with a d/a one might cover to much area and it might be difficult to remove. Griot's rep also said a spritz griot's spray wax will help remove it .I also prep my wax applicator to help apply a thin coat. I do all hand work cause I dont have a d/a.

I used the Meg's 4" pads and pc to apply and they fit right in the can. Went on super easy, spread forever so a little goes a long way, left one spot to cure 5 minutes another 30 minutes both spots easy to remove.
I know this is a older thread but I have used this a few times now and must say I am very happy with it. Using a polishing pal with a blue pad the wax goes on very easy and goes a long way. Using a edgeless closed loop towel to remove is also easy as long as you don't wait too long. I had it on my truck all summer (lots of 100+ days) before I reapplied some today and it was still going strong. The large mouth tin makes it easy to apply to the pad and even though I have used it about three times now (on a quad cab truck w/tonneau) I have barely made a dent in the wax. 14 apps sounds conservative on a regular sized vehicle.
